A tumultuous but satisfying episode of the USS Enterprise FWD flight deck masking and painting

Wow. What a tumultuous episode this turned out to be. Technical issues really tested my willingness to put this out for you all, so please please please like it and leave me comments. This episode also cost me over $100 to produce, so if you aren't a subscriber, please hit the subscribe button. But the USS Enterprise needs to continue.
Well the FWD flight deck painting is complete. I actually think it turned out pretty awesome.
I edited this episode on Adobe Premiere Pro. What an amazing bit of kit that is. So much to learn about it. I reckon I will buy a book on how to use it properly to its full potential.

Looking good mate. For me masking is the most annoying thing but the removing of the tape is so satisfying.

Hi Simon, great video. Tumultuous, now there is a $10.00 word! Great job on the editing, sorry to hear about the lost footage. Your flight deck turned out really nice. I have a little tip for you. When you are masking something, spray a little of the base color first, that seals the tape and stops the paint bleeding. As an example, if you are painting over black, do your masking, spray more black then the white. Some modelers spray clear after masking for the same reason, to seal the tape to prevent bleed. Have you considered decal stripes? They come in various colors. Microscale and others make them.
