- Everyone once in a blue moon, you find a new product that you fall in love with. For me, it happened at @shotshow 2023 when I found the @snakestaffsystems9883 ETQ (everyday carry tourniquet). While just seeing a product is fine, you need to test one, so in this video, we do just that.

I've been practicing with and carrying a TMT tourniquet. After carrying it for a couple days it compressed and is actually thinner than my cat tq. But I'm going to have to check these out because it looks much more convenient and more likely to be carried at all times
Thanks for the test, I’m tired of everyone preaching that the cat is the end all. Kinda like with people that really like the mainstream red dots that are over $600. Then a brand like holosun came out and everyone hated it because it was not a duty optic. But when put to the test it’s basically the same thing but with a lower price tag. I wanna bite the bullet on this ETQ, but I also would like it to be approved for a peace of mind 😭. I might as well bleed out this is to difficult to decide. I want to add a low profile tourniquet to my edc
Glad someone finally pointed out that the CAT TQ is actually only 1 inch wide.
Full time EMS here with a LE background. I opted for the wide just because it makes me a little more comfortable, but the construction and mechanism of this TQ feels identical to the CAT 7. I believe the ETQ wide is currently being tested by the CoTCCC, and is currently in use with the FBI, DHS, and at least one police department. I'd still prefer a CAT, but this is a part of my EDC for a reason.
Another channel did tests w/ all 3 on an actual person using ultrasound machine to check for a pulse, the regular ETQ worked as well as the CAT but the wide version did not
Interesting! If you come across it again drop us a link, I’d love to see it!

Have you used the SOFT-TW?
why are you using a gen6 cat and not gen7?
Looks like a typo, those have the grey gen7 time band instead of the gen 6 white one
@@lukez597 got it. thanks
Not a typo he says cat 6 like 50 times in the video I think he just doesn’t know it’s actually a 7
