Hi Neil, There are two possible reasons you're unable to see the illumination settings. One being that the recorder has old firmware or the cameras themselves are not offering the option. Therefore, it is unusual for the camera's red and blue flashing lights to activate due to light rain if the Smart Motion Detection is functioning correctly. However, this may be an instance where the camera's sensitivity needs to be adjusted to best suit your environment. I’d suggest trying the following steps to resolve the issue: Access your camera's settings through the web interface. Locate the Motion Detection settings and ensure that Smart Motion Detection is enabled. Adjust the sensitivity level to 'Low' to minimize the likelihood of false alarms due to environmental factors. @@SPROCCTV Thanks for the reply. This only happens when in the Active Deterrent timings between these timings all is ok even with rain. As soon as Active Deterrent is armed if there is even light rain the lights start flashing, but I don’t receive notifications.

I’m having a problem with when in Active Deterrent mode even light rain is causing the disco lights to flash but with no notification.
