Tears...I was in tears, a combat veteran, in tears, of joy. Grew up on 221 N. Hawthorne Dr. in South Bend, Indiana. I was close enough to the campus, I could hear every football pep assembly every Friday night in the fall coming from the stadium while standing in my backyard, loved this university all my life. This night stands out as the greatest basketball moment, to this point, and hopefully, not the last great moment from this unbelievable year. Love thee, Notre Dame!!!!!
I must say Notre Dame has a dam good team this year but it was over when they were put in the South Region this year. Good showing thus far but the run will end tonight. Too many tanks will be deployed on the battlefield....
