No, Skewmond didn't perform better than Yike in LFL. He is really, really good - but he definitely wasn't better. Yes, Inspired and Razork are better - surprise, they play MANY years longer. But if you want to have a carry jungler (who carries by making damage and not calls and pathing) you want to have Yike. He is better mechanically than Inspired or Razork, I don't think that this does need to be discussed. G2 played around Yike Winter 2023 and this was the most dominating G2 looked in the last 2 years. But G2 did want to play more of a macro style and a style which plays more around the lanes which showed after winter. For this style it is better to have Inspired or Razork... Because they are more of a typical jungler and not a carry jungler. Which is good for Caps and BB. We already saw the potential of Yike tho, even when he is not on carries. He had one bad split in summer, apart from that he was really good. But he isn't suited for G2 if the jungler should be supporting all of the time. I hope Yike gets a team where the team revolves around him like in winter 2023 because then he is better than Inspired or Razork.
I would actually disagree on the angle that bwipo would be the member to replace in flyquest, I would personally replace quad. My reason for this is the fact that North America has never had a midlaner that was competitive to worlds caliber teams. And I think midlane is by far the weakest role in lcs which means you are going to look way better inside the region bjergsen being the perfect example of this. Watching chovy be able to play kassadin or that smolder game where if you took name plates off you might of thought quad was a diamond player compared to chovy all this being in a series chovy did not look at the top of his game. I think if you were to analyze flyquest throughout this tournament you would say bwipo was one of the better lane swap tops with a player that has the confidence to do the big plays and has intangibles to both win or lose you the game, but even in losing scenarios he is making himself useful. Inspired looked like maybe the best jungler coming out of north america in his style he kept up in farm and appeared to be constantly making plays that many other junglers didn't. Quad to me looked like a weak link where he did not seem to bring enough positives to warrant the amount of deficits he brought in lane and simply looked like a tier down from most other mids. Busio was a support who seemed like he overperformed his expectations but in the overall aspect that just made him serviceable for the most part not to mention the perception had to be propped up by his lane partner. Massu performed great and not just for Na standards which is the most impressive, I would say there is really only one other adc ever had that would be expected to have performances like this and it's doublelift and realistically whether it be teamwide, strategic, or personal reasons he simply didn't. Tldr If I were to replace flyquest players it would go in this order 1- quad, 2-busio, 3-bwipo, 4- massu, 5- inspired. I think there is no player obtainable that could replace inspired, I think you could potentially get a top tier chinese/korean adc to replace massu but you wouldn't want to because he is promising, I think you could definitely get a player with better fundamentals than bwipo but I think you couldn't get a player to replace his specific intangibles, Busio I think there are quite a few players that can do what he does, and quad I think you could even get someone like maple to replace him and it would be a significant upgrade not to mention chinese/korean players you could get with the salaries dropping there.
So to sum up, jojopyun tanks a superteam and proves absolutely nothing, but TL should have given him a second chance. ALSO the problem with NA teams is that they keep giving problematic players chance after chance because get real, if they haven't proved anything in the first year they're realistically not ever going to.
It's absolutely dying in the West in terms of player base, and as they mentioned, there aren't as many young Koreans coming in either. No, Skewmond didn't perform better than Yike in LFL. He is really, really good - but he definitely wasn't better.
Yes, Inspired and Razork are better - surprise, they play MANY years longer. But if you want to have a carry jungler (who carries by making damage and not calls and pathing) you want to have Yike. He is better mechanically than Inspired or Razork, I don't think that this does need to be discussed.
G2 played around Yike Winter 2023 and this was the most dominating G2 looked in the last 2 years. But G2 did want to play more of a macro style and a style which plays more around the lanes which showed after winter.
For this style it is better to have Inspired or Razork... Because they are more of a typical jungler and not a carry jungler. Which is good for Caps and BB.
We already saw the potential of Yike tho, even when he is not on carries. He had one bad split in summer, apart from that he was really good. But he isn't suited for G2 if the jungler should be supporting all of the time.
I hope Yike gets a team where the team revolves around him like in winter 2023 because then he is better than Inspired or Razork.

I would actually disagree on the angle that bwipo would be the member to replace in flyquest, I would personally replace quad. My reason for this is the fact that North America has never had a midlaner that was competitive to worlds caliber teams. And I think midlane is by far the weakest role in lcs which means you are going to look way better inside the region bjergsen being the perfect example of this. Watching chovy be able to play kassadin or that smolder game where if you took name plates off you might of thought quad was a diamond player compared to chovy all this being in a series chovy did not look at the top of his game.
I think if you were to analyze flyquest throughout this tournament you would say bwipo was one of the better lane swap tops with a player that has the confidence to do the big plays and has intangibles to both win or lose you the game, but even in losing scenarios he is making himself useful. Inspired looked like maybe the best jungler coming out of north america in his style he kept up in farm and appeared to be constantly making plays that many other junglers didn't. Quad to me looked like a weak link where he did not seem to bring enough positives to warrant the amount of deficits he brought in lane and simply looked like a tier down from most other mids. Busio was a support who seemed like he overperformed his expectations but in the overall aspect that just made him serviceable for the most part not to mention the perception had to be propped up by his lane partner. Massu performed great and not just for Na standards which is the most impressive, I would say there is really only one other adc ever had that would be expected to have performances like this and it's doublelift and realistically whether it be teamwide, strategic, or personal reasons he simply didn't.
Tldr If I were to replace flyquest players it would go in this order 1- quad, 2-busio, 3-bwipo, 4- massu, 5- inspired. I think there is no player obtainable that could replace inspired, I think you could potentially get a top tier chinese/korean adc to replace massu but you wouldn't want to because he is promising, I think you could definitely get a player with better fundamentals than bwipo but I think you couldn't get a player to replace his specific intangibles, Busio I think there are quite a few players that can do what he does, and quad I think you could even get someone like maple to replace him and it would be a significant upgrade not to mention chinese/korean players you could get with the salaries dropping there.

Gen vs T1 what worries me most for T1 is the Smolder, Aurora and Yone!
