FlyQuest puting a Misfits vs SKT against GEN was not in my bingo card this year. This series proved once again that West CAN win, we CAN make our difference, LCK/LPL teams have their own meta and picks, we CAN create our own and make it once again, o7 FLY.
Flyquest played their hearts out and should be proud of their performance today. They made us believe again in what feels like has been a long time. Best NA performance since TL eliminated IG at MSI 2019
Can‘t believe that I was jumping out of my chair for an NA team almost winning against LCK. Made me remember what League is all about. Such a banger series🙏
off meta / creative picks on a world stage is what makes this game still interesting.. I hardly play the game anymore because of how useless they made the other 70% of champions (unless you one trick dedicate your life to). Why even have champs if they will never see the world stage?? its literally why I watch and don't play league as much anymore. Props to fly for keeping this game alive and actually fun.

We knew Bwipo and Inspired were good already, but man, the glow up of this bot lane is fucking insane, I hope this team stays and most of all, is a message to other NA and EU teams
GenG just went hyper scaling and flyquest probably didn't plan out their approach to a scaling comp. Kudos to them , hopefully next worlds they prepare
That's why Geng never gets enough budget. You can hear the booing from the crowd when smolder was picked. To gain fans, you need a bit more showmanship. Crazy how we were shitting on NA for only playing against wildcards and their own region, only for Fly to shut everyone up by giving GENG a close series. Ignoring the last game, this match up was absolute cinema.
I‘ve been watching league since S4, and I've never seen, any NA team, playing like this at worlds, I despised most NA teams because they just lack the passion and aggression in their games, I remember TSM went home 0/6 group stage, they played like they are intermediate bots. Seeing how Fly played today, they went down like warriors, they came prepared and they got respected by GENG, and even more by fans all over the world. I was watching the LPL stream and I could see Chinese fans cheering for Fly because they are shocked by how good Fly played here, everyone loves it when the underdog outperforms their expectations, and they are still young, they will lead the future of LCS.
Really??? U have amnesia or what xd. FFS they were even struggling with PSG. I'd say this performance against GENG is more impressive than anything G2 has shown this worlds. Also note FQ also had a close series against HLE, taking a game, and even having a good chance to win the series 2-0.

great preparations from fly and what a poor performance from gen at the same time. kiin during the interview said they didn't believe the series would go to the silver scrapes which means they just underestimated fly from the beginning. i don't know whether this is the result of them being rested too long since the last game but they really do need to focus on especially against t1 even though they have a good track record domestically
they're out for two weeks but come on they have a lot of time to read on meta, do scrims and study players. lastly they can play soloq for more enchancing. to add they're well rested it means no one feeling sht

what an absolute fucking banger of a series. if this is what the west can do, i am all for the comeback in the near and far future. soldier on, boys.
This might be a lose for FlyQuest, but THIS IS A WIN FOR ALL WEST❤KEEP THE COPIUM GOING
THIS IS A WIN FOR NA. EU CAN TAKE THEIR USELESS TOP LANER BACK.

So many drama queens lol
off meta / creative picks on a world stage is what makes this game still interesting.. I hardly play the game anymore because of how useless they made the other 70% of champions (unless you one trick dedicate your life to). Why even have champs if they will never see the world stage?? its literally why I watch and don't play league as much anymore. Props to fly for keeping this game alive and actually fun.
This series makes me even more mad that we didnt get G2 in Quarters. Imagine a world where we have both an NA and an EU team fighting for semis. Respect to FLY for this amazing series!

FLY did fight with courage and dignity. They showed what they prepared, what they thought best to win. Honor should be theirs though they lost.

GenG just went hyper scaling and flyquest probably didn't plan out their approach to a scaling comp. Kudos to them , hopefully next worlds they prepare
@@levVXO Imagine not planning out how to play against a scaling comp from GenG. Deserved to lose, if that's the reason.
That's why Geng never gets enough budget. You can hear the booing from the crowd when smolder was picked. To gain fans, you need a bit more showmanship. Tryharding with meta picks will surely give you a win, but if they get the crown like that, next year all of their defeats will be celebrated and all of their wins will be mourned. I mean flyquest played incredible well but u just cannot say that they showed more competitiveness.
@@Mofighter12 They were up 2-1 on a team that has shown much more promise than than BLG. Ik it's cope but if it was a bo3, FQ wins. Remember GENG had the hardest Swiss schedule and still came out 3-0. great preparations from fly and what a poor performance from gen at the same time. kiin during the interview said they didn't believe the series would go to the silver scrapes which means they just underestimated fly from the beginning. i don't know whether this is the result of them being rested too long since the last game but they really do need to focus on especially against t1 even though they have a good track record domestically
they're out for two weeks but come on they have a lot of time to read on meta, do scrims and study players. lastly they can play soloq for more enchancing. to add they're well rested it means no one feeling sht
