Thank you so much! I’m a hands on person and dislike reading manuals and I installed it so quick! Thank you so much . I feel like I accomplished something for the day.
My unit is still working well, however I’ve had a couple comments on my videos where people have said theirs had stopped working. Thank you for watching!
Just bought one today to replace my GE 8K that only lasted a year. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty because it had just went over the original 1 year warranty. I replaced it with this model (purchased the extended warranty), everything went together great, all the parts were with it and my house is cool again. Very happy so far. Good vid, thanks.
Jaskanwar Randhawa the unit is approximately 18 3/4 inches wide. Thank you for watching, please consider subscribing if this video helped you! Thanks again!
If it’s been used, could be the air filter is dirty. If it’s new, could be it was transported or stored incorrectly. Keep it in upright position for at least 24 hours before plugging in.
The cord is almost exactly 6 feet long (per my measurement) not including the plug itself. Thank you for watching and please consider giving the video a thumbs up if you haven't already! Thank you!
Is my unit bad or is the only mode the temp numbers change via the pressing the buttons on the unit or remote is in COOL mode..(auto and dry it beeps but doesn't change)..In the book it says in AUTO mode the temp is set according to room temp🤨..I don't know if the display is showing the temp in the room or where I set it to turn off at.. this is the first window unit I've ever had that I really had to sit and think about the buttons and the controls 🤔..the number just changed from 70 to 71 without a beep or me pushing anything in COOL mode..They may all be like this now I'm haven't had a new one in 7 years.
While I don’t necessarily agree with how they programmed the unit this link explains how it’s supposed to function under these modes: support.tcl.com/109361-setup/auto-mode-on-window-air-conditioners-42
So I didn't install the ac but the homeowner did and the ac isn't working or I don't think it ever did it turns on but blows hot air even if on cool also everytime I turn it on it turns back off if I don't press the fan button immediately im curious if you have encountered this issue and know how to fix it?
I have mine installed in a vinyl window and don’t have any issues. Instead of screwing it into the window I cut thin blocks of wood for each side that hold the window down onto the AC. I also painted the blocks to match my window trim. Hopefully this helps! Thank you for watching and please consider giving the video a thumbs up if you haven’t already! Thank you!
Hi there! I have this unit & I had it set up to turn on & off at a certain time, but that was through the app & it had been connected through wifi. the problem is that I changed my Wifi router and so had to connect it again but haven’t been able to reset it to the point where I can connect again & can’t find how how to do so either. Would you mind helping me with this ? Thanks so much! Great Video btw :)
I have the 10,000 btu. I am very pleased with it but when I came home the display was going crazy, reset itself to 61 and it will not let me adjust it to higher temp. Any ideas?
The only thing I can think of is to unplug it for a couple minutes this may “reset” the display, also try pressing the mode button and cycle through the different modes.
In eco mode it will turn off once it reaches temp but then periodically (every 10mins or so) start up to “check” the temperature. If it is much above the set point it will stay on until cooled down. Hopefully this helps, thank you for watching and please consider giving the video a thumbs up if you haven’t already! Thank you.

Hi thanks for video' I have a question my friend has model # w8w92-b4c and was asking if knew where the water drain hole at the rear l don't see one? does anyone know?
I wasn’t able to find a TCL in the store that wasn’t app compatible. Just purchased this same brand with the same BTUs. Two things concern me about it; it takes a few minutes before cool air discharges from it, was as the smaller one it replaced was immediately cold. And the top starts to sweat within 5 - 10 minutes.
5 Minute Fixit the whole unit. I’ve brought it in from outside for the winter and I unscrewed all the screws, managed eventually to lift the case off but it’s still attached at the control panel and everything else is fixed to the bottom panel with caulk (that’s rotten and breaking down now). I can’t really get at any of the bits that are filled with gunk from being outside. Filter cleaning was easy. Thanks
Joanne Davies I usually spray the external/outside parts off with a hose without removing any of the actual housing, a little 10% bleached solution should help too. Sorry that’s not exactly answering your question but I haven’t taken the unit apart. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you haven’t already! Thanks again.
