My buddy with a Traeger is going to be so bummed out when he sees my Recteq. This thing is built like a tank and cooks like a dream. He’s on his third Traeger. Gotta thank him for starting my pellet smoker journey though.
Just bought my rt 700 the bull. Called in customer service to find out if they have military discount. They support the troops. First time I called went to voicemail. They called back within the next couple hours to see if I was helped. A actual cal back was very surprising. But none the less, a great experience with this company. They said it would be about 6-8 days once I get tracking number sent and to be patient considering everything going on. Looks like I’ll be receiving it in 2 days. I can’t wait to start my Rec tec journey. Hats off to this company.

Michael Sutherland yes sir. Best service I’ve ever dealt with. Had a couple probe problems. Called their customer service. Fixed within three mins. Literally. Have smoked butts, ribs, steaks, burgers.... great buy, I would suggest to get the competition cart. Built like a tank. It’s so much more stable and feels a lot smoother for movement. I don’t move mine much, but very sturdy if needed.

I just got the RT 340 bundle yesterday and I stopped at the butcher shop during lunch today to pickup my first pork shoulder. Gonna fire it up this weekend! Can't wait.
I just ordered the REC TEC 700 everything I have read prior to me making the purchase pointed me in REC REC's direction I ordered all the accessories for 700 including pellets the only thing out of stock was the sear plate as soon as they have them in stock I'm buying it I can't wait till it gets here so I can give a whirl with a wagyu brisket, thanks REC TEC for building a great grill that outlasts any other.
Best grill I've ever used. Bought my bull about a month ago and use it every weekend. The recipe's on the app are great also. Just did a variation of the Lucy burger, used my available seasoning is only change, my wife couldn't get enough of the burgers that night. Grill looks great and does a great job. Doing baby backs tonight so they are ready for fathers day tomorrow. Going to show my father in law the rec tec way over his traeger. Lol

I just put together my new 1250 bundle and was wondering if the card should have been with the grill, or could it be in one of the other boxes with the accessories? I ask, because I have not seen one yet, nor received an answer on the two emails I sent. I have not opened all of the boxes yet, so, if the questions I asked in the emails, or on here please feel free to let me know.
Bought the yonder comp cart 680. Not happy with the way they do the temp of the grill not the air temp inside the smoker, looked at your 700 and big, getting close to pressing Buy , loved the end of the video , I only wish I could go see one in person, any one in the LA Ca. Area ?
I bought my RecTec (that’s what the name was in 2013) on July 6, 2013. The grill arrived late afternoon on a Friday. We had 30 or so people from my wood working club coming on Saturday for a BBQ dinner. My wife and I struggled to get the grill up onto our deck. Those of you who own a RecTeq know what I am talking about. Once assembled I discovered it was not functioning. I called the help number early evening in Seattle knowing full well I would be using my old grill for the upcoming nag BBQ. Before I could walk out to my deck my phone rang. I heard a voice say “this is Ray from RecTec how can I help you. I had no idea I was talking with one of the owners but he went on to talk me through the trouble shutting process, we found the problem and I had it running in time for my guests. Since then RecTeq has updated my ignitor, mine had failed several times, replaced the original cover, it did not hold up to Seattles weather, and never charged me a penny. All that and I still have the best grill money can buy. I look at the new models and dream but my boss, wife, says if it still works why replace it. Damn thing just keeps on keeping on. Thank you Ray and all the RecTeq family for continuing to make the best damn grill money can buy.
Just out of curiosity, why are there not foil inserts for the grease bucket that form fit the bucket where the foil insert overlaps the top of the bucket? All the foil inserts on the market today are small.
I saw a tip (from RecTeq, actually) to stick a spaghetti sauce jars in the buckets then when they are almost full, pull them, pop the lid back on them and toss them. I am using big tin cans (spaghetti sauce or baked bean cans) as a bucket liner.
Grills nice but hope it never breaks. Been getting the run around from customer service for 3 weeks trying to get replacement parts. They don’t respond unless you send repeated emails. They also censor their reviews. I would not recommend.

We have not looked into producing our own REC TEC foil inserts, but we'll keep this in mind if we choose to down he road! 👍
