Thank you Jody and Chef John, this was such an eye opener for me. I live in MN and even through the cold winters I am using my Bull 700 weekly. I have always vacuumed out all of the ash regularly. So many good tips and tricks. I have been addicted since 2017 and literally use mine at least once a week. Thank you!
Thank you John and Jody, this was super helpful. I just did my first cook on my 1250, chicken thighs (thank you both) and they were bomb. I don't like thighs normally, wife does, whoa they were great. I am doing brisket and ribs for MM day for the family. I can't wait to impress! WIFI connection was a tiny hassle but got it corrected via RT troubleshooting. I am soooooo happy with the choice I made with you guys. I really appreciate your support and great vids.
Great video gentlemen- The video length was about 15 min, which is enough time to be thorough but convenient to watch. Keep em coming. Living and loving the Recteq lifestyle here the Midwest. -Justin
A few weeks ago we received our 590!! We’ve done about 32 hours of smokin!! We want to try a brisket but not gonna lie it’s a little intimidating!! Any chance this recipe coming up on Friday is going to be for beginners from start to finish? Love our Recteq and all the helpful videos!! You guys rock!!
Heavily Cover a low fat brisket with French’s mustard. Find one dry rub with brown sugar and one with Italian style spices. Cover it thick and heavy with both on both sides. Inject with a good wheat beer. At 8 pm Put it on over night at about 200 degrees (low) . Shoot for about 14 hours. The next day when it’s about 185 degrees inject again with hot beer. Put beer in a pot at a low boil and then inject (so as to not bring temp of meat down). Wrap in aluminum foil and turn up the heat to about 220 degrees or more. Get internal temp up to around 203. Check for tenderness. Put in an old cooler for about an hour to let it “settle”
What's the best way to clean the front on the barrel. All the stains on the front. Absolutely love your videos. I hoping you would address the stains on the front.
Good information and don't worry about these feelings getting hurt with your use of EZPZ. Every one of the complainers has something they do that annoys people so they are taking it out on you. Peace!
Nah, all that ash bugs the hell out of me. I have vacuumed my traegers every time I clean the pot, I do the same for the recteq and it works great. Don’t leave the ash to stir around onto your food!
@@BBQDADJODY maybe I can start spreading my cleans out then. Had a guy tell me I needed to clean my 700 out every few smokes or else I’d run into problems.
Okay. New drinking game. Take a shot every time junior here says "Easy peasy, lemon squeezy". Or... tell him to knock it off. Your choice. Moving on!.............
I had to throw my Teflon mat away. It was extremely hard to clean. I called rec teq and they didn't believe me and wanted me to send them pictures. This was the first and only time in nearly five years that any rec teq rep treated me like this. Foiling is the easiest way to do this. If you noticed even when Jody was asked about the Teflon mat his excuse was lame. I love my 700 Bull and have sold several over the years for rec teq.
If you recommend taking pellets out and running it to empty once in a while, then why don't you have a pellet dump opening? That would have been really nice to have. Also, saying the same thing 20 times during the video is annoying. Stop it. You don't need a gimmick. You've got good info. Own it.
Love your grills but wish you would go back to the way you advertised 5 years ago. You videos then were more mature and professional then. Now I feel like I'm watching a used car add. I had to stop watching after the 10th time I heard easy peasy lemon squeezy
Please stop with the EZPZ Lemon Squeezy
😂
Sorry Tom!😅
Lol😂😂😂
YES PLEASE!!
He’s nervous about being on camera. Give him a break.
You guys are SO MUCH FUN, but you're also very informative. Love your videos. Marc T.
Waiting for my RT-700 to be delivered!! Been wanting one for years. Even visited Recteq while in Augusta! Finally gonna be a part of the family!!!
welcome to the family! I have the bigger brother and I am sure you will love your grill!

Made to the 3rd EPLS.... and had to check the comments. Liked the Plz stop EPLS comment. Have mercy. Great video and tips, but you're killing me MAN!
I found cleaning mine to be fairly EZ, slightly PZ, but had zero lemon squeezey
So it’s important to keep the burn pot clean… got it! Camp Chef it is!!!
I noticed that you discarded the pellets that were in the burner cup. Does this mean you need to add pellets back in before starting?
No need to prime since there are pellets in the auger already. The cup will fill quickly.
No need to add more pellets unless your hopper and auger tube run empty.

stainless steel polish

Ezpz lemon squeezy gang for live! 😂 represent!
Im just here for the eazy peazy lemon squeezy drinking game
We would all be passed out drunk if we played that game.
Almost called 911…
So, let me guess, everything with a RecTeq is easy peasy lemon squeezy...
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Buttons down fellas

A real life Ned Flanders 😂😂😂
do you have to empty the hopper by hand or is there a some type of release door or basket?
I think there isn’t not enough incline of the drip pan. My yard is pretty level. I put a small rock on the back left wheel
Is it bad if f I remove the racks and clean them with Dawn power wash and non scratch sponge? Or bar keepers friend?
Dang that was a lot of ash in the bottom. How long do you guys typically go between cleaning out the bottom?
Once a year!
@@BBQDADJODY maybe I can start spreading my cleans out then. Had a guy tell me I needed to clean my 700 out every few smokes or else I’d run into problems.
Are all your grills the same thickness in the stainless steel

Anything different for the Bullseye?
Have a contest to submit alternates for the EZPZ Lemon Squeezy. Do on the Friday show.
Doesn’t that ash on the bottom get on your food? I thought the cleaner the better. Not worried so much about heating the entire chamber.

Hey Jody, does Harry still work there?
I vacuum all the ash out the fire pot

What happened to showing cleaning the outside???
No need to clean the outside! lol
My exterior has smoke discoloration. Would love to shine it up.

Good lord!! EZPZ is so cheesy!!
Didn’t actually show the cleaner working on the outside of the grill. 👎
The internal fan will blow ash dust onto your food. 🤷♂️
Geez dude... let go of the easy peasy lemon squeeqy.... I had to stop watching.
Take a shot every he says EZPZ lemon squeezy. See you at the hospital 🤢
Don't use the foil! I can't believe they're showing you how to really not clean your smoker. 😂😂😂
He needs to stop saying easy peasy lemon squeezy!!!!!!!!!!!!
