I installed this December 2022. Just started to get a buzzing noise at 5-6k rev range (after maybe 6-7k miles with it on). Will have to disassemble and see if the rubber padding needs replacement or reinforcement at any point. Edit: didn't see any wear points on the rubber. Installed car door rubber edge trim on the curved parts not already covered by the original rubber strips. Will see how it goes this week.
+pinoy texas rider p It did not affect the cooling at all. They would have to prove it affected whatever warranty they try to deny (at least in the US), and you could always remove it before taking it in for warranty work if you wanted to anyway.
You installed the bottom part wrong, your suppose to lift the nipple up and put the nipple threw the whole then the spacer and then the clip underneath
Man, great video. Not a handy guy, but just installed my Givi guards by following every one of your steps. Really appreciate the help.
+Lenny Lilja glad it helped! Hope you’re a subscriber now 😉
Mate, your legend with that tip on the plastic rivets
+Richard Bains haha thanks, glad to help!
Thank you for the video. Givi instruction says nothing about how to disassembly this plastik pins... and then you came in:)
+Tomasz Hawliczek You’re welcome! So glad it helped you.

+Matthew Konersman interesting. Let us know what you find.
Thanks for the video. I just installed mine on my new XR and it’s easier with your video than with the instructions from GIVI 😉
You're welcome!
wonderful, have mounted after the video, fits!
Great!
Did it affect the cooling of the bike? I heard it will void warranty if the bike overheat
