I lost it when you turned off the water and the hose started jumping around lol reminds of many times when I’m in the shop and my air hose snaps causing it to fling around
I have had these hoses before 2 things i have found that screws them up. 1) if they have no UV protection after a year or so they will become fragile and break up. 2) if the outside of the hose is not durable and if you step on it while it is on a rough surface like a rock it tends to puncture the surgical tubing inside, from what i understand this hose has 3 layers of tubing one inside one inside a 2nd one, this should help durability.
They may not last long but for an older person, they are perfect! I just ordered one and would be happy if it lasted 3 years! The original heavy duty hose I purchased years ago has become way too heavy for me!

Being in a wheelchair makes regular gardening extremely difficult. But it I didn't garden and can I wouldn't be able to eat. So I appreciate your comment. Sorry for late reply I have been extremely ill and in the hospital for close to 3 weeks. So do grateful for my neighbors for caring for my garden and pets

It appears the inside diameter is small, not 3/4" as advertised ... maybe the outside is. That is why your stream sprays so far, but the stream is also very narrow ... that is your clue.
By looking at video. I wish they extended the handle same at the end of the hose, for comfort ability. I know all the people who owned it will agree with it.
i would have liked to see your water pressure before you hooked hose up. your pressure looks very low compared to mine. Do you think high pressure will pop the hose?
It's a crappy hose with a very fragile nozzle. No longer hisses to spray after 19 days of use. The ad budget is huge instead of improving the quality and durability of their products.
My thoughts exactly. There is no way to increase water pressure - you can only reduce it if the flow rate is too low. But any flow rate will build up to maximum pressure with a small enough outlet (everyone knows what happens if you try to stop the end with your thumb).
Here is something every one seams to miss. You cant hook it up to a sprinkler ! It retracks and will drag your sprinkler across the lawn. They are ok for watering a garden as your holding it. If you really want a hose that will not kink and lasts for years get the godzilla yellow hose. Its the best I ever had ! Mine is over 10 years old.
Just curious have you turned your pressure up at your pressure regulator near the holdind tank if you have a well, this should turn your pressure up also make sure your holding tank is not full off water when the pressure regulator has detected enough pressure to turn off the well (water logged). Of course if you have city water i would look for a restriction in your plumbing.
I hope someone can help me, i purchased the 30ft version for my elderly mother, what size should it retract to when the tap is turned off? she seems to think it should retract to a size that will fit in your pocket.

Mine simply won't stop spraying. You can twist the sprayer nozzle to 'shut off' the water but I prefer to shut off at the bib and that's not happening, even after getting the bib replaced!

It does not extend the promised 25 feet. They cut it back to 22 feet. I always bought as seen on TV and got three years out of each hose not three weeks!
Is this false advertising or what? Just because it has a copper nozzle doesn't mean that the water coming out of the hose is lead free or decontaminated in any way. How do they get away with this statement??? 🤔

I bought a similar item today from bunnings it is amazing with a 2 year warranty

Cover the hose with a white towel to deflect the sun so it stays cool. It'll last a maximum of three years.

It is not how it works. But how long it lasts. Those hoses have Reputation not lasting too long.
I sent this one back. Other expanding hose I have had only lasted about 2 or 3 years.
You should NOT pull it over the concrete or rough ground when full of water .. Learned that from the original model 10 years ago for my parents 😂

My issue with all collapsible hoses is that they're great until they burst.

The most alluring thing about these hoses seems to be the metal fixtures…they seem pretty durable and easy to use.
