Thiru P Sainath from Karnataka, a highly educated Karnataka looks very hard working person (May be 60 to 65 yrs now). He is also an unique person in that he alongwith so many people working hard in bringing out openly the forgotten 14 odd languages which were in use in many parts of India for 100s to thousands of years. Most Indians are aware of Hindi/English alongwith all the Regional languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Karnataka, Odissa, and Bengali etc. However, there are around 780 languages spoken in all over India Himalayan states etc. he states. His speech was very interesting and educative and he is an asset.

Language is the vehicle of culture from generation to generation. By respecting and protecting languages, India protects multiple shades of culture that evolved over thousands of years making it a beautiful country.
