When Canon Actually Made Good Looking Cameras

- Remember when Canon used to make good looking cameras? With the release of the new Canon EOS R5 Mark II around the corner I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping Canon brings some classic design elements back into their gear. I'm so over their minimalist design. Let me know what you think.

If Canon dropped this camera with the photo specs of the R5 without any video features, I'd be all over it for the right price

Same here. It's a beauty. My only issue was forgetting to turn it off and finding a dead battery next time I picked it up. hahaha.

I have that as my backup camera my main is x700 minolta with a motordrive 2, and i love the motordrive because the beautiful shapes that you refers to is not ergonomic and in a professional manner look is not even the third… soo vitage looks good and everything, but i stick with my black “ugly 🧼” of mine
btw if you love the vitage look over functionality go with a fujifilm x100 or a leica or an budget olympus om-d
lol. Thank you for the comment appreciate it. The X100 is a nice camera I use it often. I wish Canon made an X100 type camera with a full frame sensor. That would be a lot of fun to shoot with.

Same here. Still works but the film cost is too much. But it's a beautiful camera. If Canon remade this camera in mirrorless I would be first in line to buy one. Thanks for the comment.
i bought my x700 in a kit on ebay for 250€ (whit 2 lens a case the body and a motordrive), conpered to my dsl body:2200€ and a another 800 for one lens and no flash no extra battery nothing sooo
