    You were recommended by my brother and I'm glad he did. Thank you for this video. It did two things for me: confirmed that my methods and thoughts about them are ok, and gave me new insights into photo set ups I had not thought of.

    This series of videos has been really helpful, man. Thank you! I am shooting a wedding for the first time at the end of September, and this has helped me get some ideas for shots and etiquette. It will be low key, a super-small family affair, but I want to show up as well as I can and get them good shots to capture their day.

    This video...man...it is as though I was RIGHT there with him. Being mentored without the stress factor!! I would NOT have though if having bride and groom walk toward or from me during shots. I often think of static poses, but, THANK you SO much for these inspirational videos. Wedding coming up this weekend and will play this on way to ceremony again!!👍🏾👍🏾📸📸

    The sound of the dslr shutter is music to the photographers' ears. But to a crowded hall where silence is observed, it could be quite annoying. So I would sometimes switched to high shutter speed mode and it changes the mood of those who could hear saying "Wow, that camera is fast!"

      you can - take a few shots of a candle at your leisure and then drop the flame into the shot with a blending mode that only lets the bright flame through! I have had to do it when the candles refused to stay alight at a wedding!

    Love it that TH-cam recommended your content. Really trying to learn about wedding photography as much as possible as I want to start shooting wedding soon. A question I have for you is, is there a reason as to not using a dual strap kinda system such as the black rapid to name one. I feel I wouldn't personally be able to hold two cameras like you do so well. Is it to keep the look of the wedding? (no out of place looking black straps) or no extra bulky cameras flying around? Would love to know your opinion.

    New subscriber here. Love this kind of videos! I think the behind the scenes are my favorites. I'm about to make my first paid wedding in a month. Just a 70-200 2.8, a 50 1.8, and a 18-105 kit lens for the wide angle. Hope it Will be enough! Keep sharing these good content taylor

    • @TaylorJacksonPhoto
      @TaylorJacksonPhoto  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly I could shoot an entire wedding on a 50mm 1.8. Would rather have one of those than the best 24-70mm in the world. Having two good bodies (even if you just rent one for the day) is also really helpful as well. (Something that could be a main camera as well, and not just a backup)
