I, well I find there are not words powerful enough to describe how impressed I am by this beautiful, amazing young woman! As a person, listening to her life story, the admiration just keeps on growing. As a future Queen, WOW, THAT, is what the world needs desperately, people like her. From women all over the world, I feel I can honestly say, may God always be with you and your family and protect you. Thank you for being you and for bringing hope to the human race. ❤️

As a Canadian, I was wowed by this entire video and what an outstanding woman Princess Victoria is! Sweden is very fortunate to have such a brilliant, forward thinking and kind woman leading their country. ❤❤❤
The King or Crown Princess do not ‘lead’ the country, as they have no political power, do not vote, and only represent Sweden at state visits etc. Sweden is led by its Prime Minister and his/her Government, as well as the Parliament.
She's definitely a improvement over their current king.
She reminds me of our royal family here in Norway.
Her mental problems reminds me of our kings granddaughter and her (our kings granddaughters) father.

As for Victorias choice of a commoner as a partner.
Well our own king threatened to renounce his title as crown prince if he couldn't marry our current queen back in the day.
Our current crown prince married a woman who not only was a commoner, but had been divorced, but had a child already with a man who was in jail for drug related crimes.
And our kings oldest child and daughter has married a artist, then divorced him after having children with him, then he committed suicide, now she's about to marry a afro-american/black american who's a self proclaimed shaman (and controversial due to breaking Norwegian laws, as we don't allow people to claim that you can heal something that you haven't proven scientific that you can, nor discourage people from seeking medical help from scientific western medicine.
Given that our monarchs technically is also head of our state church that whole thing can be a bit awkward...
Still, that whole royal family is just some of the most down to earth and kind people on this planet, seeing people for who *they* are on the inside rather than superficial things.
The Kings granddaughter is a skilled artist by the way, I love watching her work on Instagram.
Anyway, all of that is a tangent.
I'm just looking forward to the next generation of nordic monarchs, they're just all really inspiring.

Basically picture a old school slightly creepy upper class guy...
Partying with strippers, not necessarily bad pr say, but add to that him just not really getting everyday people and making quite a few questionable choices.
You probably know the type.
Every family got one.
Someone that's not evil or anything but just creepy and perhaps a bit dumb or selfish or something.
He had sex parties in a underground club hosted by a mafia boss, with the king there the police was less likely to raid the place.
Having affairs with young women while being married, abusing his position a bit, wasting money, making the secret services clean up his mess.
He's not a bad man pr say, and there's definitely worse monarchs out there.
But he's more of the slightly embarrassing slightly creepy uncle or something that is a part of the family but someone you deal with because you have to rather than someone you're proud of being associated with.
Not exactly who you want representing your country.
But also not bad enough to justify abolishing the monarchy or anything.
Just, you know...
At least that's my impression from here in Norway...
Our monarchs are more relatable.
Part of the difference is that Sweden still has a aristocracy, while Norway doesn't.
Also, he have different values from todays generation.
But yeah, he's just a average monarch.
So getting a new Swedish queen every bit as amazing as any other royal in Europe will be nice. :-)

A royal whose description by this video seems like a down to earth person, close to her people and openly talking about her struggles. That definitely makes you take your hat off to Princess Victoria a real and modern royal.

I wish sometimes she could be our head of state. So our country could go back to being loving to EVERYBODY no matter where we come from or which faith we have. Sadly we have powers in this country that try to take that away.

drugs and alcohol cost the society WAY MORE MONEY. And we are giving the dictators weapon and much more then that. But in the end of the day, You do not own a country just because you were by not your own choice born in the country. But whatever, tired of hearing the same old argumentation to vote for Racism. And I rather pay for a person to come here and be protect from war then a person using drugs or drink to much alcohol and destroy lives and cost the society huge amount of money.

Here in Finland, Crown Princess Victoria is also very much loved. I think she is one of the greatest rolemodels for girls.
And her daughter Estelle will be amazing as well. Seeing that she takes it seriously as well.
You did not show that picture of her when she was battling anorexia. I think that point she was the lowest weight ever, almost skeleton. But I am happy that she overcame by it and is much better now.
And I remember watching her wedding through tv live. She was so beautiful and they looked so happy.
From everything we hear in this video, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is a great example of overcoming, resilience , and of the desire for personal improvement , in order to acquire all the necessary skills to play , with ease and efficiency , her important role in the Swedish Monarchy , and in the Swedish State.

Iam Super Proud of our Beloved Crown Princess, for me As an foreigner who grow up in Sweden as small kid with disabilities myself in school who was bullied & was able to see a real life princess with her own disabilities & to see her struggles to overcoming it from that young shy girl to the amazing, beloved National Treasure that she is...She's my favourite among all princesses in modern history, Beautiful both inside & out full of compassion, love & humbleness...Sweden has a bright future with her on the Throne as Queen when she ascends it..

I had the same ED for the same reason. Not that I would be Queen one day of course, but that I felt like I had no control. I've been recovered for just over a year and am at a healthy weight now. Good for her for opening up about it!

@@amc5936 I don't know but I think most others royal families have been forgotten by people because the British one is the one that most people understand or care about since they speak English all the time. Another reason why might be because royal families have little to no input in how the country is ruled so they aren't actually needed but since we and the other countries in Europe that have royal families, have had them for many years so it would be weird to us if we didn't have royal families anymore so now royal families are mostly a symbol for their country to the world and since most people in the world speak English, they are the most known royal family in the world since everyone/most people knows English so most people have the energy to try to understand them
Without any doubt my favourite Royal by far. She’s seems to be the most sincere and beautiful person. Every-time I see her she makes me smile.
I suffered from an eating disorder when I was a child into my teen years because I had no control of my life it wasn't easy for me to beat it I'm glad Victoria was able to overcome hers

Wow! She has overcome a lot. Hope this has made her an understanding person. It is so tough to be in the public eye, especially with the press being so intrusive. She has handled a lot of adversity, and has had a lot of experiences that have helped her mature into the person she has become. Good for her.

The moment at 7:40 when she embraces her son was so beautiful and really brought me to tears. I grew up without a Mother and always wanted that connection. I really feel cheated in this life. She truly is so elegant and beautiful, nurturing and so interesting and intelligent. I can only hope I’ll be reborn into such love and beauty. .

good video👍 but I have to make a small correction, Sweden was not the first country to change the rules. Denmark changed their rules already in 1953. so Princess Margrethe 2 could take over the throne after Frederik 9.

Point of order, though I'm sure someone else has pointed it out already -- Prince Daniel won't be King Daniel one day. "King" as a title outranks "Queen", so you can't have the ruling monarch's spouse with a title that outranks their own, particularly when they were born into royalty rather than married into it.
Prince Philip was never King Consort.
He was not King Consort due to a Royal tradition which dictates that women do not transfer their Royal titles to their husband.
Her father is also dyslexic. A well known fact.

Swedish press is quite nice in general and they are reporting about the work the royals do. People in Sweden let the Royals live their lives and don’t disturb them if you see them outdoors and restaurants and so on.
