Her aunt said in one of her interviews, that before Abigail was released and people thought that all her family is dead, there were many Israeli families that said they can adopt her once she’ll be released. It’s amazing to see how much people care about her and wanted to help her heal after her release

This is the text (along with the parallel texts in the other synoptic Gospels) where the famous Left Behind series of books by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins got their names. It is taken to mean that one day believers will be secretly “raptured” away and the rest will be “left behind.”
What’s the problem here, you ask?
First, if we read the three verses leading up to this text, we find this:
As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of man.
It seems from the text that the folks who are being “taken away” are being “taken away” to judgment rather than to heaven. He says, “as in those days before the flood . . . they did not know until the flood came and swept them away.”
Secondly, and along these same lines, if we go to a parallel text, Luke 17:34-37, we find this:
I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together; one will be taken and the other left. And they said to him, “Where, Lord?”
If you asked any dispensationalist the question, “Where are those who are ‘taken away’ going?” They would respond, immediately with one word: “Heaven!” But what did Jesus say to the apostles when they asked him where these were going to be taken?
Where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
The word translated “eagles” is the Greek aetoi, also translated “vultures” and signifying birds who feed on carrion.
That doesn’t sound like heaven, does it?

The trauma to little girls by sick men is horrendous
The trauma that created by Israel is thousand times more.
For a precious child like this girl to have to see the last breath of her father laying on top of her as he surely shielded her from bullets as his last heroic decision just before he lost consciousness is something no one on Earth should have as a last memory of a parent. Human evolution on a social sympathy level is obviously centuries away.
Today I keep thinking about Abigail, my heart is so pain to know about her situation.

I suffered a terrible trauma when I was 3,5 - it disappeared until I was 20! 🥴🥴🥴 And it took a long time until it became a closed past! ❤So I wish all the best for Abigail!

Hamas destroys humanity
From Jerusalem-thank you to both family members for speaking so diplomatically, with such restraint and also being forthright at the same time. I know that was not an easy tightrope to walk. TY to my colleagues, the wise journalists who let them share without interruption, without inane detailed questions-allowing what’s most critical now to surface. Great job to all. Hoping we share only revealed good news from here on. (Fervently hope while current news re hostages again so uncertain. Trying not to assume the worst)
My sense is this little one will be alright. She will have lots of needed love and support. Though therapy might help to process the trauma, I would caution not to sort of wallow in it. She seems like a very resilient, beautiful little girl. Give her plenty of room to work her way through it. Wish this family all the best -

@@beautyforchrist4661 Respectfully - no, I don't think trauma just "goes away". It takes work to deal with it, but that should be relative to her and her needs, not anyone elses, including a therapist with possible issues of their own. I've seen instances where folks in a group setting couldn't get past some of their issues. They got sort of stuck instead of finding a pathway forward. They were wallowing in it. Maybe they needed better facilitation, I don't know, but I do know that getting stuck where they were at emotionally didn't help them.
There's a good book on dealing with trauma by Judith Herman MD called Trauma and Recovery. She's had a lot of success helping people deal with serious trauma. I do not claim any expertise, but feel comfortable recommending her book(s) as a good place to start.

At the same time the words of the head of organisation (UN) that represents all nations of the world that the acts of Hamas are not originated out of Vaccume can not be brushed aside. . The leadership of the Rich and Mighty who created the crisis are also to be brought to justice.

I wish 'all' would really include everyone. Because I see Palestinian civilians in Israeli civilians and Israeli civilians in Palestinian civilians. Both are part of all of us, they're human beings.
