@@littlemac1208 I know that pictures have much power, and seeing pictures of suffering Palestinians have a hold on people. I admit that some Palestinians are victims. I see most Palestinians as perpetrators playing the victim and simply don't have the means for their goal. For over 100 years Palestinians murder Jewish civilians; the Palestinians declined several offers for a Palestinian state, and they declined, because that would mean an end to their goal to murder all Jews in Israel and take all the land. I have no compassion for people trying to commit genocide, no matter how much they victimize themselfs. All Israel wants us peace with their neighbours, but after October 7th, there is no peace and no solution in sight. The Palestinians would need a political leader who was never a terrorist und who is not corrupt. Then the Palestinians would need to appalogize for what they did on October 7th; then they would need to recognize the state of Israel; and finally they would have to behave peacefully for a long period of time. The the Israelis could accept a Palestinian state. But that is pure fantasy, because nothing of it is anywhere on the horizont. And as long as the leftist and the UN is siding with Palestinian terror organisations, the Palestinians will keep up their dream of a Palestinian state in Israel without any Jews in it and they will suffer for decades to come. There are Muslims who live, work, worship in peace, in Mosques in ISRAEL! They even serve in the IDF and are fighting AGAINST Hamas!!
The difference between the Arab Muslims living in Israel in peace and the Arab Muslims living in Gaza and calling themselves Palestinians, is the desire to live in PEACE with their neighbors regardless of their faith! THAT’S IT!!
“Free Palestine” is a call to genocide of the Jewish people!
Jews are an ethno-religious group. They are bonded by DNA and or religion. Archaeology has PROVEN that the Jews have been in the land of Israel for many millennia. The Torah says they arrived around 1270 CE and The Quran affirms the Torah. That is over 14 and a half MILLENNIA before Islam ever existed!
There has been a continuous Jewish presence in Israel, Judea and Samaria. Not all Jews were sent into the diaspora.
So this claim of Jews occupying Palestinian land is absurd!!!
Furthermore, in the 2nd century CE. the occupying force of Rome renamed Judea and part of Samaria to “Syria Palestina” after the Jew’s enemies, extinct Phillistines.
The location name stuck. Up until 1948, everyone residig in that area which was not a state or country, were called Palestinian.
The current “Palestinians” have no ancient connection to the land or the people. They are Arab Muslims.
      There is NO Palestinian:
      *people (genetically) alive today
      *language (Gazans speak Arabic)
*distinct culture (Gazans are Arab Muslims
There has never been a country called Palestine.
There has never been an official document written in Palestinian.
Palestine has REJECTED PEACE AND A TWO STATE SOLUTION:
      * The Jerusalem Mufti Hajj Amin Husseini, the leader of the Palestinian Arabs from the early 1920s to the late 1940s, said in his testimony to the British Peel Commission, established in January 1937, every last Jew would be expelled from a Palestinian Arab state.
      * The UN partition plan
In November 1947, the same Mufti refused to adopt the UN partition plan that offered to establish two states, one Jewish, the other Arab. The Mufti rejected a two-state solution until the day he died,
      * The successor to the Mufti, Yasser Arafat, continued to reject any legitimacy for the State of Israel, refusing even to acknowledge its existence. For many years, he raised the PLO banner of a military and terrorist struggle against Israel. In addition to masterminding decades of bloody terror in the streets of Israel, Arafat was responsible for devastation across the Middle East, including a civil war in Lebanon (1975-1991) and Jordan’s Black September (1970). He also threw the PLO’s support behind Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait in 1991.
      * When Anwar Sadat signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1979, Arafat’s PLO called for Egypt to be boycotted. The Arab states adopted that boycott and prevented Cairo from participating in the Arab League from 1977 until 1989. Most Arab ambassadors in Egypt were recalled and Arabs visiting Egypt were considered either traitors or spies.
      The Oslo “Peace Process”
The Palestinians responded to Israel’s attempts to implement the Oslo Accords by sending waves of suicide bombers to the streets and buses of the cities of Israel, a blatant violation of their commitment to the agreements and a clear statement of their rejection of the idea of peace with Israel. At the July 2000 at Camp David summit, Israel PM Ehud Barak offered Arafat a series of far-reaching concessions as part of a comprehensive peace arrangement. In return, Arafat was asked to end the conflict. The PLO summarily rejected the Israeli proposals and never offered a counterproposal. Instead, the PLO-dominated Palestinian Authority (PA) initiated a massive premeditated wave of violence. Arafat’s war of terror (the so called “al-Aqsa Intifada”) was unparalleled in the scale and relentlessness of its terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians. A total of 1,184 Israelis were murdered.
      Disengagement
In August 2005, the government of Israel, headed by PM Ariel Sharon, carried out the unilateral evacuation of all Israeli villages from the Gaza Strip and the northern West Bank. In response, the Palestinians have been launching missiles and rockets on Israeli towns and villages from the Gaza Strip for years, some of which reaching as far as Tel Aviv.
Instead of using the enormous Israeli concession as an opportunity to achieve peace, the Palestinians used it to empower Iranian-backed terrorist organizations. In June 2007, Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in a violent coup. Ever since the Hamas takeover, the villages of southern Israel have been subjected to a more-or-less nonstop downpour of rockets and missiles fired from Gaza. The number of rockets/missiles and mortar shells fired into Israel from Gaza since 2007 is in the tens of thousands.
      Mahmoud Abbas
In 2008, Israeli PM Ehud Olmert offered Arafat’s successor as PLO Chairman and PA president Mahmoud Abbas a sweeping peace proposal. Abbas rejected it outright. He claimed that “the gaps are too wide,” meaning there was too great a distance between what the Palestinians demanded and what the Israelis were offering. “I will wait until all the Israeli settlements have been frozen,” he said.
According to Saeb Erekat, chief negotiator for the Palestinians, “We are not in a market or a bazaar. I came here to determine the boundaries of Palestine from 1967 without budging an inch, without removing one stone from Jerusalem or any of the holy places to Islam or Christianity in Jerusalem.” The Palestinians refused Olmert’s offer because they found his unprecedented territorial concessions insufficient and because they insisted on the right to manage the holy sites in Jerusalem in place of the Jordanians.
      Deal of the Century
The Palestinian leadership rejected the current US proposal a year ago, before they had seen it. They also refused to participate in the economic conference held in Bahrain at the end of June 2019 and prevented other Palestinians from participating.
As soon as the plan was published, it was a given that Abbas would oppose it strongly. “We say a thousand times no, no, no to the Deal of the Century,” he said. “We refused this deal from the beginning and we were right. Two days ago, they said to listen. Listen to what? Shall we get a country without Jerusalem for every Palestinian, Muslim, or Christian child?” he asked.
Mahmoud Abbas is now calling the deal a conspiracy that “will never pass… Our strategy focuses on the struggle to end the occupation. The plans to eliminate the Palestinian agenda will fail and fall away.”
As has been said many times, the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Their leadership claims that every suggestion is a conspiracy and every initiative a trap. Making peace takes courage. Will a Palestinian Sadat ever arrive?

I've often heard people say "something didn't feel right" before tornadoes, earthquakes, and even before becoming a victim of a crime. If something doesn't feel right, you should act on that feeling and leave the area you're in just to be on the safe side. I don't know whether or not that would have helped these prescious people considering the number of murders done that day in many locations. But still...listen to that inner voice warning you of impending danger and do your best to protect yourself and your family.

Here it appears like all the people were sitting back and waiting for the government to do something.

The jews accommodate over a million muslim pilgriims to Al-Aqsa every year, despite it being a huge risk for them.
The simple fact is the muslim world cannot accept that the jews would have even a single square foot of land anywhere in their ancestral land or control anything remotely approaching a holy site of the overlap between the two religions. There are many people who have laid out all the facts about the way we got to our present situation, the arabs are determined to claim victimhood and be a perpetual bother to the israelis, that's all there really is to it. The arab muslim world has against israel since the very beginning, when they began to seriously buy up land and sign founding documents for a nation multiple arab states declared war on what was not even a country yet, and that war led directly to the founding of the present nation of israel which had to win a war just to become a nation. The majority of the land in israel was purchased, not conquered or taken, and land outside of that which is or was occupied was taken during defensive military campaigns. Yet people chant slogans protesting israel that literally call for the dismantling of the jewish state and either the expulsion or extinction of all the jews within. Even from land legally purchased, even from land nobody cares about, it's not motivated by justice or any sane thought, just religious and ethnic persecution. Most jewish communities across all of the middle east and north africa have slowly been eradicated or expelled over the centuries. So where would they go? Most jews had to flee to israel when it became a nation in the first place, because it became too dangerous to live anywhere else in the entire region, even though many of their communities had been living in isolation, walled up for hundreds of years at that point, paying bribes to various sultanates to not be murdered for being non-believers.
In reality there are no palestinians, jews ARE the palestinians along with other semitic peoples of that land, because the name palestine comes from the roman name given to the territory as punishment for jewish rebellions against the empire of rome. Then various groups controlled the land after that, the ottomans, the british, just to name a couple, and talks began to re-create a land of israel when most of that land was barren and empty. The population in occupied territories has exploded, many of them arabs from other place like egypt moving in and then claiming it to be their ancestral homeland just to screw with israel. The arab neighbor nations won't accept many or any refugees from there, but send people into it. It's all a scam, and somehow most people don't see it for what it is. Are there innocent people suffering? Of course, there always are when there are decades of unrest, but who is the root cause of the unrest? Is israel deliberately keeping hostilities towards their tiny nation going? I don't think so, and I think you'd have to be a fool to believe that. Time and time again there has been refusal by one side of the issue to even come to the table to negotiate, nor accept any sort of terms or concessions in order for there to be peace. They literally want one thing, israel gone and all iraelis with it.

@@williamdeasy7507 I think the issue is a lot more complex than that. It's not like Hamas was just bored and decided to attack out of the blue, the attack was a response to 16 years of military blockades and attacks on Gaza.

@@hippo440 I think the issue is a lot more complex than that. It's not like Israel was just bored and decided to invest millions of dollars in maintaining a 16 years long military blockade on Gaza. It's almost like they've seen Palestinian suicide bombers kill their civilians in the past.... Much like people have forgotten the past we are quickly forgetting that during a music festival Hamas went on a shooting spree and decided to top it off by beheading and raping people.
But hey, don't take my word for it, I'm just some guy that has already forgotten about Azerbaijan's invasion into Armenia with the full support of Turkey.
