I love the double beds in the airstream! We lived in an rv for 10 months as our house was being built. It was tough having us all home all the time but was such a learning experience. My husband was working remotely and I was homeschooling 3&5 year old boys.
Hello! These are wonderful tips! I have followed these for years and it keeps me grounded! No matter what life throws our way, these little productive routines let me say, “Well, at least…..” and that is often such a comfort on crazy days. Especially, as a homeschooling mom of 2, these routines let me have some productive “me time” with my headphones and my “TH-cam Ladies”, like you. Getting dressed every morning, making the beds and washing the dishes are a kind of "golden rules" in my life too. And also I keep my bathroom and guest toilet tidy, so I can welcome visitors at any time. So I totaly agree with the habits you've shown us in this video.

I'm in a season of life where stretchy pants are a wardrobe staple; the chasing a toddler stage lol. But I do feel more productive and motivated when I at least balance it with a nice sweater and get my self together a bit. I thought that was a really good tip.

Thank you Robbin for a beautiful video! I love having a good morning routine! I’m going to start having my daughter, who is 24, start watching your videos. She’s still in the college mode where she sleeps until the last minute, stays up late, clothes are all over the floor and cleaning happens when she just can’t stand it anymore and she spends her Saturday doing it. I’ve tried to help her with routines and systems and she just hasn’t picked up on it. Maybe she’ll follow advice from someone who isn’t her mom☺️. Completely different for the people that are retired or don’t work!! For the rest of us, that have a full-time job, it’s not as easy. Myself, I love having a clean house and I do my best to keep it clean.

What a great intro to your video! I loved that we could hear the sweet sound of the baby lambs, and see them running around. What a lovely sight to see! And Austin, who seemed still sleepy and so comfy on his bed!
Thanks for the encouragement with all the tips you gave us. The one tip that I need to implement is that of cleaning the dishes after each meal. My husband prefers that we let the dishes pile up in one sink (we have a double sink) and then do a big load only once a day, after supper. But this is not something that I like, because I find, exactly like you said, that this unfinished task weighs on me throughout the day. I think it’s time that I change this bad habit! 👍😊
I can also attest to the good mindset that making the effort to get dressed in the morning gives me! It really motivates me to get things done and improves my mood! I find that it’s often in the little things that lies happiness! Like you, I take time in the morning to pray, meditate on the Word of God, and this gives so much peace, no matter what the circumstances in my life are. I wish you a wonderful week! Good morning Robin, enjoying this series on the renovation. I can't wait to see the finished product. Like you, I too shower, dress and a smudge of makeup each day. During the Pandemic and our lockdowns, there were two days I simply showered and put clean PJs on and boy, those days I got NOTHING done and even worse did not go for a walk (obviously). Dressing has been such a habit for me during my 30 odd working years I never thought much of the affect it might have on my productivity until those two times I did not dress.....that's how it works for me too.......cheers to you all.

I remember my mom ( who was very neat and clean ) when we were going through major home renovation.. every night she would dust everything , vacuum, and tidy as much as she could . While some may have thought it a waste of time she did it every day to help her feel peaceful.

Hey Robin…I love your tips for a productive morning and I follow many of them. After I drop my granddaughter off to school, I come back and do my daily Bible devotion time. This is the best time of day for me and I thoroughly enjoy spending quiet time and praying. I feel so much better after I spend this time with God. I also use the Bible Recap. You mentioned this awhile back and I purchased it and I love it. The simplicity of this book makes my study time even more rewarding. I always tell my family that everything has a place and I spend some of time putting things back where they belong. It makes my time dedicated to my home a breeze. I'm currently setting up a Short term rental and running my home and my business...I find that if I 'get ready' everyday I feel much more prepared to tackle the day! I heard somewhere that the little things we don't do (like leaving the dishes unwashed in the sink), are 'silent stressors' that can add up and attribute to us feeling anxious. Yes, I agree that there is a time and place for disposable, convenient products like paper towels, etc. My life runs much more smoothly with routines. Anything that I can plan or automate is for me - from meals plans to daily uniform. Lately, I have been all over the place with my sleep schedule so that's putting off everything else! I'm becoming frustrated with my lack of focus and time wasting. I'm hoping (and planning) to get back in the groove tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiring video.

I have found if I have to leave the dishes in the sink at night it helps to when I get the kids off to school in the morning and I am done with breakfast sometimes that is the time I actually wash whatever I left the night before. I usually put all the dishes in the dishwasher that needs to go and the rest I rinse off and put them on the opposite side of the dish disposal so that sink is empty and clean. If I have a good day I get dishes done in the morning and then in the late afternoon and then right after supper if I am blessed. Dishes is the hardest thing for me so like you said I feel so accomplished if I get them done each day. Thanks for all you're tips it all was so helpful and it made me feel I can get my dishwasher started tonight and the laundry is almost done, yeah! Thanks and take care!

Love your channel, Robin! At 12:05 I notice that one of your stove knobs is turned to the On position while your cleaning. I hope it isn't leaking gas into the airstream. I'm a professional housekeeper and when I'm cleaning, I pay special attention to make sure I don't accidentally move a knob while cleaning stoves. That's why I noticed it.

My husband and I lived in a 30 year old camper for 9 months with two small children while we built our home. I can’t say it was enjoyable but it was our only option.

Great progress and tips. I bought Jessicurl's Rich and Radiant Collection which is for curlier and dryer hair. Mine is just wavy but it is very dry. It takes about a week for my hair to become greasy so I only wash it once per week. I condition it daily. Also got a new heat cap for deep conditioning as the Velcro failed on my last one and I'm pretty sure the gel pads burst. The one I ordered doesn't have a closure and it's thermal material Is flax seeds. I also upgraded my ereader, cell phone, and tablet. I got some more clothing at work today. I love the bodysuits but they seem to stain easily and it was hard to resnap them when going to the bathroom at work so I picked up some cotton T-shirts. I bought some in a 7/9 in junior sizes and a 3/5 in ladies sizes. I do love fitted tops since there's a fifteen inch difference between my bust and waist. There's a six inch difference between my waist and hips.
I would love to see a video dedicated to how you keep Austin clean. How often does he get a bath? How often do you wash his bed?
Hi Lisal! I’ll admit that he does not get bathed often enough in the winter. We have to wash him outside and feel bad to do that when it’s cold. So about once a month we do it on a sunny day. I wash his bed more frequently and always whenever we wash him. I also vacuum his bed at least once a week and sprinkle on some baking soda before hand if it is needed to freshen it up. ☀️🌼💛🐾

I am a woman of routines...I have a fairly regimented Morning Routine, and a more flexible Evening Routine; and I am always drawn to uploads similar to yours as there's usually something I can learn or feel validated about 🤗...I couldn't agree more regarding your tips of maintaining a clean and organized home...I've never really been a "let's do it later" kind of person, but rather a "don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today" gal...I believe in putting everything back in its rightful place to avoid unnecessary clutter and build up of items requiring re-homed later on...I take a few extra minutes everyday to quick clean bathrooms and the kitchen just to keep mess and build up at bay...The extra minutes in the mornings has been well worth it whenever I return home from work to a clean and refreshed home.

Hi Robin - You have a lot better attitude than I think I would have. I’m afraid I would be kind of grumpy with all that “camping out” you are having to do. But I am like you in wanted my spaces to be neat what ever they are. I remember years ago when the hourly workers at my company where on strike and us Salary workers had to work and be locked in. We lived and slept in our offices. There were mostly males with a few of us females. The females would have their beds (air mattresses on the floor) made and their offices picked up in the morning at the start of business. All the men’s offices were horrible. I asked one of them if they lived like that at home. He said of course not. Hope you keep maintaining a sort of schedule and keep that good attitude. Love in Christ.

Loved seeing your routines, Robin. I couldn’t agree more about how helpful it is to do some of these simple things that bring peace and order to your life! Also have to tell you that as I was preparing dinner the other night and boiling pasta. I couldn’t walk away from the cooking pasta and as I stood in the kitchen I remembered your video about 5 min. tasks. I was able to check a couple quick things off while I waited for the pasta to cook. Such good advice!

My family of 5 have been living in our 5th wheel camper since September 2020 because Hurricane Laura destroyed our home. Hopefully we will finally move into our newly remodeled home next month. We can't wait! I think I need to implement your tip of washing the dishes after each meal. Currently I'm waiting until the evening and we sometimes run out of dishes.

I agree about getting dressed each morning. My husband & I don't leave the bedroom until we're dressed. It really tells my head that I am ready for the day. Oh, consider not showering every day. I know, scandalous! Over 50 years ago one of my college professors pointed out that daily showering is not good for the skin. It took some time to get use to the idea but now I shower every other day unless I'm doing something really dirty or sweaty.

What kind of special school does Paten go to? Because my daughter has epilepsy and we will probably have to take a blood work to see if we in our family passed on a slight bit of Downs Syndrome and I am unsure how it works? I am pretty sure I will homeschool her since she is way far behind in school and she is behind in just her thinking it seems to be almost staying the same around 6 or 7 and she just turned 10. Thanks, I appreciate for sharing and the curriculum we have decided on is Sonlight Curriculum if you have heard of it? If Bridget is needing something later on I will most definitely look into the idea you're son is in because we may end up around that area at least Coppers Cove, Texas near Fort Hood by Killeen around 45 minutes away North of Austin. We have been called for now in El Paso trying to start a church here called Liberty Baptist Church, mostly for the Military but others are welcome too. Please pray for us and our wonderful daughter Bridget and that God's will happens for her and she can have a normal life and her seizures go away too. Hi Maureen! I don’t think he knows what to make of the sheep. Sometimes he charges at the fence, but so far doesn’t bark. They pretty much just ignore him. I think he would like to herd them around, but I’m sure our neighbors wouldn’t appreciate it. 😂🐑🐾

Are the walls of your Airstream magnetic? If so, you could get a magnetic pen cup or some sort of magnetic organizer for small items.
That’s a great idea Lisal, but the walls are aluminum, so not magnetic. 😊💛
