    Hi Robot,
    I have just finished parts conversion from chrome to black on my GTS. :-D
    I would like to thank you for all your videos and experiences which you are sharing with us.
    Great job - THANK YOU!!!

    You kind of start to miss the simplicity and ease of access on the P, PX and T5 models, the last 'true' to their roots Vespa 2-stroke models of yesteryear. Even the poorly designed Cosa was much simpler that the GTS. What a 'mess' of parts, electronics and mechanics all somehow squeezed into that GTS body. Real Piaggio engineering marvel and a nightmare for us tinkerers and fiddlers.

    What an awesome video, so many little tips and tricks on how to remove body parts professionally. Now I feel ready to tackle changing the beading. Thank you so much!

    Have my eyes on a supertech right now. Will need to change over my existing upgraded baggage hook and heated grips myself as the dealer likely won’t change them over when I buy the new bike. Same goes for my Akrapovic exhaust...wish you guys were in nyc. The rest of the mods on this model here are rather tasty with this new liquid concrete body color. Making a list now 📝 👀 this clip is Designer approved ❤️🛵🤖

    Love those t handled allen wrenches. @ Vespa Motorsport What brand are they? Also, in your videos, you make reference to other videos in the past months that do not appear posted. Is there a backlog of vids already filmed just not yet posted? Example is where you reference taking a 300HPE apart beyond what is above...likely a longer video...but it is not in your feed. Love your stuff. just ordered the switchback turn signals and LED headlight for my GTV Sei Gioni last week from you guys.

    When do you need to use loctite on items installed ? And which type of loctite ?

    • @VespaMotorsport
      @VespaMotorsport  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not too many instances on the Vespa, but usually any fastener that doesn't have a lock washer or some type of friction fit such screws into plastic. Or anything that would be prone to vibrating loose. If it has a specific torque recommendation, it usually won't need it. In most cases we would use the Blue Loctite so it can still be easily removed. Robot usually mentions when loctite would be appropriate in our videos, or follow the service manual to be sure. Thanks!

    I always dismounted the lampmask and just loosened the back of the steeringcover. Even in the old GTS it's 10 minutes more work but you don't need to stretch and struggle with the Glove box and reduce the possibility of getting the paint damaged.
