Spoon have been one of the most consistently good bands for like the past twenty years, just always good music. I come back to this music video probably once a year and it still rocks. One of their best songs

If you listen to this and compare it to 'The Beast and Dragon Adored' on their Gimme Fiction album from 2005, you'll notice that the instrumentation has significant similarity to it. But don't get me wrong, the fact that the creators of the video worked hard to make the video interesting to watch is real dedication. Definitely a work of art.

totally different aesthetics between the two artists. Beck is quirky and fun but Spoon(mostly Daniels) has a completely a totally different idealogy when it comes to composition
So this is great. It’s insightful and sheds light on the phoniness of our photoshop social media culture, it’s creative with a certain stop motion quality to it, and it’s even got a pinch of humor, which is crucial for the delivery of an active critique. Spoon, you so gewd.
