I unfortunately never got the chance to play boudikai 3, but I do remember playing both BT2 and BT3 at a friends house back in the day. Even though my memory was foggy, I still remember that BT3 had characters that felt similar to each other, which felt like a negative despite the better mechanics, roster, and camera angles at times. This was something that made me want the 2nd game more since there was slightly more variety in the fighting styles and movesets.
BT2 is top tier story BT3 is top tier multiplayer Now we hope they make BT4 a good blend of both Also yes I loved the power scaling based on story for BT3 especially in the situations where you are supposed to lose and through pure determination and win anyway it has cut scenes made up for the what if scenarios
I still play this game to this day. Absolutely GOATED. BT4 has a lot to live up to. I played this game with a broken keyboard on a ps2 emulator and MASTERED the game.
The Red Potara code is visible in the character selection screen. Defeating them is hard, but doable with the right characters. I found the androids to be super useful, as well as characters like Vegito, who have After Image Strike.
i'm happy dragon ball had good voice acting on Latin America and they didn't change a lot of the original meaning of the scenes, I'm not Mexican, but in brazil it is the same with the anime here and is one of the reasons i don't like to watch or play any dragon ball media in English and watch/play in Japanese with subs
My nephew was into DBZ. I wasn't. He wanted this game. I got it for him. Beat the ever loving shit out of him. He cried saying how he was a fan and I wasn't. With my wrap around Oakleys on I looked at him dead in his dumb glossy half Colombian, half Sicilian eyes and said "Get out of your own room. GET OUT! and go play Snake on your momma's Nokia Chocolate cellphone and lose there too."
Awesome video. More of a Budokai guy myself, but i also love Budokai Tenkaichi. Thing is, i never got to play BT games when i was little. Only Budokai thangs.
@@theIJPmexican bro you gotta try burst limit it’s basically budokai 5 , it’s amazing! I’m loving it as of now , raging blast 1 is better than 2 is what I heard from a lot to people
Dude just emulate it it's not worth 100$ lmao buy a fat ps3 or a wii and mod it (something every gamer should do anyways a hacked wii is God)and it's not hard.
Someone talk me out of buying a ps2 BT3 and hdmi converter….ps2 like 200-300 and so is the game last time I checked😭 with Sparking Zero being close but no release date yet I get continually more impatient
I loved this game but I never got to play it until I was 14 through an emulator. I'm just being 18 now and I have so much nostalgia for this game, but the higher difficult are rigged af.
To be honest the highest difficulty is still pretty easy. Pretty good for practicing and definitely the best CPU difficulty from the Tenkaichi series but overall quite fair
There's a video of the recently retired European competitive champion "Paige" playing against 5 "very strong" CPUs, All top tier character picks and he beats them with 1 character while playing stylishly and losing less than half a bar of health
Damn that’s a bold ass statement , but being honest melee is smoother & faster than brawl but brawl has better characters (well besides dr Mario in melee that’s my dude) lmao
besides the upgraded graphics and new story why wud i want sparking blast if i already have xenoverse 2+dlc makes it already feel like xv3…xv2 and DB FighterZ is already a satisfying enough dragonball game to and sparking looks like its gonna be similar to it
You make fun of the English dub and use the clip from freeza killing vegeta as an example of "bad" dubbing. All Funi really did was make subtext cheesily obvious. You also leave out the part where he straight up demonstrates his will that a saiyan kill freeza when he laughs at freeza because a SSJ (goku) is going to end him. That is shown in English dub. Vegeta was still a selfish, cold , evil bastard, but he was crying for a reason. Think about it.
There is no subtext that Freeza is the reason Vegeta is evil in the original version. Not in the manga, not in the anime. That's purely an American invention.
@theIJPmexican lmao if you think that's why he's crying you don't understand DB at all. He's not a pussy he's a fucking saiyan warrior he doesn't fear death. He's crying because, as hard as he tried and as often as he was told he was special and the best, he couldn't even come close to avenging his ppl and killing the tryant that has disrespected him and his heritage. He mocks freeza at the end because even though that's the case, he still knows freeza will die at the hands of a saiyan. This is the viewer catching a glimpse into the transformation of vegetas character later on. AT has vegeta cry to show he's more than just another evil villain goku has faced before i.e. RR army or Piccolo Daimo, Raditz, etc.; to show he is capable of feeling anguish alongside pride and rage. I could be off the mark on everything I've said so far, and I'd concede this is possible. However, I am SURE vegeta wasn't crying because he was "fucking dying" like some scared bitch. That's absurd.

Tenkaichi 2 & 3 still hold up great all these years later for a PS2 series, hell I just spent the whole weekend replaying the story mode of 2

yeah cells barrage is op as hell

Ps2 emulator is not a mod ot just forces the game into a modern resolution. You can't change move sets.
