Great jig. Easy to make, easy to use, and thanks to the rounded ends, you are able to make circular mowements. However, I would use treaded inserts as I'm not shure the treads in the plywood can stand the pressure over time.

Good idea for a sharpening jig. You could also put a liquid level on the top to make leveling easier.
