  • I went the cheap way on the Lagoon table system. DIY with metal pipes and some easy brackets.
I did not stick with the pvc lower posts, I got some metal attachments. and got some finished round table tops. October, 20, 2020.
next video is unboxing the cabin heater / parking heater/ all in one chinese diesel heater.

You earned a subscriber when you said "... i dont care... its an ADVENTURE VAN...". You aint one of those bougie "vanlifer's" hyping up a kitchen with a bed - that you didnt build. Keep on Truckin Bro!

Great idea and execution! I really appreciated (and relate) to how generally unimpressed your wife seemed - cracked me up.

Great idea. I think all pipe might help with stability. Thanks for post my friend.

Round table top great idea or oval. Loctite threadlocker will help with spinning threads you DON'T want to spin. I was about to make one of these then decided to see if anyone has already done this. Thank you for eliminating several hours of R&D.
Let the little lady see how much you depend on her opinion by viewing the first part of the video.

You can stick Dowling rod in pvc.

How 2 keep it from swinging back and forth esp while driving .the pvc diameter is a little larger than metal pipe ,and that point is where it swings around

This is dope. Can you share the materials you used and where you were able to find them?

I got mine at a DIY 1/2 pipe stuff. you can find everything at a lowes or home depot. but keep in mind some stuff. it shifts. think about making flat points lock down.
      but its cheaper than others

Brilliant solution to the overpriced Lagun table. Shows your inventive mind, well done! I too, want to make my own version of this overpriced elitist gadget that sells for $225. It used to be over $300 just for the base, no table!
I think this can be made with extruded aluminum for a flatter profile and lighter weight. Another version with copper pipe - that would look so good! So 3 versions can be made for 3 different looks to match decor.
Simple design, and I really appreciate this video, many thanks! Your talents are wasted on your unappreciative wife. Find a better partner who shares your interests. She does not appreciate what a creative solution this is. Do not make the mistake of having her evaluate your work and put a damper on it. This will extinguish your inventor's passions. Keep on inventing!!
fyi - Music should not be in a DIY video. It hurts the ears and drowns the voice. I had to turn off sound completely and miss what you were saying.
