    Will definitely try
    I have started seedling on rockwool but at some point they fail, once I moved them to lecca
    Maybe the wool is the problem
    Besides the whole thing takes too much space
    I will look for cups that fit my kratky baskets that I got
    Your system seems more efficient in managing space and seems to work
    I will post an update
    Fingers crossed ❤

    Thanks for🙏🙏, can be use marble stone pieces instead of leaca balls??? 🙏🙏

    • @healinghobbies
      @healinghobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The advantage of leca/clay pebbles is it retains moisture. But Yes you can use stone marble too to support the tissue paper but it wont retain moisture. You will have to keep an eye to ensure the tissue paper is moist until the roots are stable and long enough to reach the nutrient solution. Its doable. I hope this helps!🌱😊

    This is a great video considering the cost of food now. Home food plants would be a nice hobbie

    Do they have to be transplanted ?

    • @healinghobbies
      @healinghobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are growing microgreens or baby greens no need to transplant but if you prefer to grow a full grown lettuce head. Yes, I suggest to transplant it into a bigger growing container.🌱🙂

    Why do you put 2 seedlings in each container after they grow bigger? Wouldn't it be too crowded?

    • @healinghobbies
      @healinghobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These are smaller variety of lettuce but yes normally I just put one seedling in each containers.🌱🙂

    I thought the seeds need covered to block out the light for germination?

    • @healinghobbies
      @healinghobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not necessarily. You can keep in a shade or indirect light/sunlight. Then once it sprouted Place it under grow light or sunlight.

    it will grow without the toilet paper. don't need it I grow mine right on the rocks for easy removal. try that and see if you like it

      Thanks a lot! I previously experimented with bok choy, mustard and cabbage without toilet paper and worked out very well. I was a little worried with lettuce seeds. They tend to get soaked easily. I'll definitely give it a try. Thank you for sharing this.
