So glad I checked out your review. I was using the largest size eartips on my Dusks and I had the exact same scenario. Harsh trebles and hollow mids. I've gone a size down for a deeper insersion and everything is now really really well balanced. Thanks again DMS, happy listening!
Swapped to smallest silicon/red tube tips for my Tin T4... Tonality and imaging has legitimately never been better. I thought the medium silicon tips and the foam tips were the best, but boy was I mistaken. Thanks for the idea, my music is sounding fresh and exciting again!

Until I find myself at the end of the tune just enjoying the music, thinking about the artists, cool production tricks etc. Very enjoyable, that's what these are to me. Kudos to Moondrop & Crin for making such an awesome product. Cheers!
Hi. Enjoy your work. I sold my shure se846 to pick these up and I'm glad I did. You mentioning that they sound like headphones, I was listening to them the other day and thought to myself that they sound like my Elegias with more sub bass. Really please I made the switch
Got my blessing 2's yesterday and I'm gonna say despite the shortness of the cable and minor annoyance of taking them on and off, I'm maiming them compared to my hifimans
I switched to the blessing 2, non dusk, for all my music listening, replacing my over ear headphones, fidelio x1 and dt880 600ohm completely. Originally this was for comfort reasons, over ears with glasses are just annoying, but now i do prefer the sound. They are my first closed headphones for a long time and i did not expect to like it as much as i do, i'm just not that interested in a large soundstage/headstage, headphones are mostly bad, compared to speakers, anyway. Seperation and depth is more important to me and the blessing 2 deliver in that regard. In very good recordings you will have a decently wide soundstage/headstage as well. As i do listen to a super wide range of music, the neutral sound character of these is excellent. For certain genres i do apply a conservative low shelf of 3db at 100hz, which does add some more punch to the blessing 2 non dusk. This should bring them closer to the dusk in tuning. As for comfort: You might have to find a position where there are comfortable, but ones you find this, they dissappear. I, for one, do like the big nozzle, 6,5mm, as i have large ear canals and most large tips don't fit well enough. With the blessing 2 i can get away with the medium sized tips. My only criticism would be the cable. It has more microphonics than i would like and it feels cheap.
@@ozunkeskin6919 The midrange is the strongest part of the set. It is neutral and well balanced with the rest of the fr. Male and female vocals sound very natural. Hey DMS. I've been trying to EQ my isine 20's for 3 damn years. A month after its' release I've been on a journey to EQ them to sound "right". Every 3 months I would go back to resetting my EQ configuration because my ears would become too accustomed to the sound signature and if I switch to something like my HD600's and listen to the iSines again, they'll sound wonky. However when you mentioned that there's a 9.3khz peak with the Blessing 2 Dusk that disappears with deeper insertion, I've added that treble peak to them and I'm actually much closer to finally getting my iSines to sound right. For me they sadly just don't work. My ears are relatively small and I just can't get them in deep enough. Not with the original tips, not with small Spinfit 155, nothing works. And it's frustrating. I can hear how they are supposed to sound when I manually keep them pressed down with my fingers, but as soon as I let go of them again, they sound harsh and sibilant.
What did it for me were spring tips, but I actually use the large size for a proper seal. The important thing is the length, which is very short. This puts the nozzle output almost flat at the output of the tip. I still cut around 3~4dB in the 8KHz region with EQ, but it's not strictly neccessary. They are well known in UK, a chain of hifi stores and big electronics retailer have stocked them for a long time, possibly 10yrs. They are often recommended as decent budget options by review sites. I think they may be sold under a couple of different names in other markets. I had some that were good. Its easy to do worse at the price and within that range I think they're among they best.
Guess what? Apparently the KBEAR Lark has near-identical frequency response to the Blessing 2 at just 1/10th the cost: At *$32* it's definitely worth it despite the somewhat worse fit, isolation, imaging, and soundstage. Of course, get the Blessing 2 for the absolute best :)
I'd love to get these, but my ear canals are tiny and I struggle with getting the right fit for normal iems and earphones. They're also a bit too pricey for me at the moment.

The Mangird Teas were the only iem I've tried that never had sibilance when turned up but I lost one of them 😪
do you remember which triple flange tips you used for the Blessing 2's?
So which would you prefer the ie300 or these?
What is the sound paneling in the back of your room?
Hell yes it looks cool! Same here........what is it and where can I buy it?
Easy to love the look of the IEM but the cable looks a bit shit 😀
I wonder if they would match up with something like the Sundara or 6xx ?
Doesn't he sound like the guy on frost channel?
i can hardly find versus comparisons between Blessing 2 and Blessing2 Dusk. Which is better? Super* Review preferred the original Blessing 2.
dusk. 2H>3H on dusk, 3H>2H on og b2
Nice review. Please take a look at the Shure Aonic 50 wireless! They promise bluetooth studio quality
and here i am looking for headphones that sound
like good ba iems
Sorry this maybe a stupid question but how would you compere it to a headphone? I mean it has the quality like the hd600 for example? Which headphone is similar sounding like the moondrop iem?
Hi Combo John, i am seeking the same question, i am own a beyerdynamic T70, i am thinking to get either moondrop blessing 2 or Grado SR325x. I like the SR325X's look, but at the same time i worry about the moondrop blessing reliability, chinese forum mentions about the cable break within half year, and the silver cover fall apart from housing.
@@pooklin all of these are replaceable, if anything happens with the quality control you can always ask for warranty replacement or buy your own replacement cable. Moondrop responded really fast when i received a defective starfield iem
@@mini-337 Thanks, appreciate that. I just got myself a grado sr325x, there are some improvement over my old T70. Might consider IEM later.
Is the moondrop variation an upgrade? Just got my variation and is curious how they stacks up
Would you review the Ibasso am05 ? Same price range as those i am curius as how they compare.
"They really need a deep insertion depth" micro-pause.. "in the ear".
Damn maybe I should get these idk
Anybody here heard about the soundmagic earphones? they are not well known, ive got e80 and they sound pretty good imo
They are well known in UK, a chain of hifi stores and big electronics retailer have stocked them for a long time, possibly 10yrs. They are often recommended as decent budget options by review sites. I think they may be sold under a couple of different names in other markets. I had some that were good. Its easy to do worse at the price and within that range I think they're among they best.
nice but too expensive, do you have a iem $150 max iem recommendation ?
I use starfield by mooondrop. Absolutely love them! Also reviewed and recommended by z reviews for the price
stretch a bit for the See Audio YUME, If not ER2XR with Double Flange Tips
$329 afford????
have you tried the original blessing 2? I'm wondering what's the different bleesing 2 vs blessing 2 dusk
dusk's are tuned by crinacle
Are these or the IE 300's worth the upgrade from the Etymotic ER4SR/ER4XR?
Makes sense they are similar to the k361 as both are tuned to the harman target.
Guess what? Apparently the KBEAR Lark has near-identical frequency response to the Blessing 2 at just 1/10th the cost:
At *$32* it's definitely worth it despite the somewhat worse fit, isolation, imaging, and soundstage. Of course, get the Blessing 2 for the absolute best :)
@@humm6155 not true.. Etymotic er2 cost 50 bucks now
@@humm6155 not worth?
many people are using whatever came with their phone
$20-50 iems would be a great upgrade
I'd love to get these, but my ear canals are tiny and I struggle with getting the right fit for normal iems and earphones. They're also a bit too pricey for me at the moment.
Would love to see a review of the L’acoustics iem’s if you can get them in
What other equipment did you use for listening; music source, player, dac, amp? I.e. what’s good for an IEM?
Apple dongle is plenty for the Dusks. Sure, my ADI-2 DAC's IEM out sounds slightly better in a quiet room, but portably I surely wouldn't notice.
when you hear the car start up at 8:15
worm gets early bird
ps. is the fearless s8f/p on your mind to review?
The worm also produces the spice
I am really doubt that they are sounds as full size headphones more than Fiio FD5!
Thieaudio monarch vs blessing 2 dusk
Do you think it compares to the Audeze iSine 10 & 20's? Those also sound very much like headphones, specially with the Cipher DSP corrections
So this is the "buy dusk" comes from
deep insertion! thinking er4 :3
You know who else needs a *deep insertion depth?*
