This video is going to be showing you how to get three starters in Pokemon Sun and Moon using Pokemon QR codes, the QR Scanner, and the Island Pokemon Scan.
We're going to be catching the additional starters from the Jhoto region, and you can do it before leaving the first island!

Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon are the first set of Generation VII Pokémon games, coming for the Nintendo 3DS worldwide in 2016. Not much is known about these games yet, but they will come worldwide in 2016 and contain the addition of Chinese to the languages
In addition to this, there's the capability of receiving data from Pokémon Red, Green, Blue & Yellow through Pokémon Bank into this game.
The game is to be set in the Alola Region, where there are numerous New Pokémon. It contains various improved graphical mechanics, as well as the return of trainer customisation.
Don't care what anyone says, the Gen 2 Starters were awesome.

Don't change the date and time settings. The game will prevent you from doing time based events for a while.
If someone is just starting out in the game, then PokePelago isn't even reachable yet.

I'll comment without watching the video:
Wondertrade and GTS are all you need. You can get pretty great LV1 babies from all the shiny hunters easy. You can get a SUMO starter trio in under 10 minutes. A bit more efforts and you can get starters with strong IVs and even egg moves!

There is only 2 ways to have that many copies of mythical pokemons. Either owing multiple copies of the same game (counting multiple versions) while accumulating the mythical as they were given out, OR cheating.

I'm doing the "catch all Pokémon with only regular poke balls challenge." This includes legendary's and ultra beasts. It's pure hell but worth it, if only for bragging rights.

I ACCIDENTLY did this in Poni island and got an Emboar on Sunday instead lol... Well it's better than nothing!
Emboar is the evolved version of tepig. Unlike cindaquill, it has a dual typing, so it's verry good
still looks like sh*t tho...
P.S.: I finished pkmn Whit withought using my tepig starter.

I accidentally did it on Akala, found a Gothita, and accidentally ran away front eh Gothita. But then I found another one, and I remembered that he had us save after we scanned the QR Codes. Thanks so much cuz I soft reseted and did it for CQ. I am going to next get Vhikorita, because I plan to get Totodile in my playthrough of Pokémon Silver.

Can you catch the same Johto starter multiple times or only once?
Amit Kumar you can do island scans as many times as you want for any pokemon. You can only do 1 every 10 hours however.
When I did this it was Tuesday so I just did it and I got a luxio yay!

If you go to faba in aether island he will want to battle you and if you win he will give you a porygon
Instead of getting the ultra balls and bringing down the hp which, depending on how strong your Pokemon is, can cause the Pokemon to faint, you could just go on the safe side and chuck a Quick Ball at it at the start of the battle. Honestly, it works like a charm and your new starter makes it out scratch free

But its better! The other starters you can get from gts from this simple method:
catch any of these pokemon
Go to the festival plaza and press -trade- (it will save your game)
click -deposit-
select a bred starter from jhoto and than select the starter from alola that you would like.
Trust me everyone wants a those pokemon!

+Cyndaquil Incoming I don't know why every one says this. Below the letter "z" filter, there is a "what Pokémon?" Filter. There, you can type in the name of the Pokémon you want regardless of if you have seen it or not.

Michael Chen You will need to trade lvl 100 ultra rare pokemon for each one or just get a second copy of the game

I got litten from wondertrade en popplio from gts
I got Litten F and Popplio F for my Rowlets (I got Female Rowlet as a starter)
Catch/breed a Cubone, deposit it in GTS asking for the starter you need (type it in the free text entry if you haven't encountered it yet), and check back in the GTS the next day.
(I said Cubone because it's not hard to find but there aren't a crap ton of them sitting in GTS at any given moment, which means that it'll go pretty fast. Any Pokemon that you can search for and not find a huge number in GTS will do.)
+Real_SuperPig Wonder Trade is not GTS.

Step 1: Wonder Trade until you get a Ditto (if starter is male).
Step 2: Breed your starter with the Ditto (or any pokemon if starter is female).
Step 3: Offer up those level 1 starters on GTS in exchange for other level 1 starters. It's a fair trade; someone will take it.
Step 4: Breed the starter you get and hatch the egg. The OT is you so obedience won't be a problem.
Alternatively, Wonder Trade like crazy. Level 1 starters get passed around on there pretty often. Breed them so the OT is you. I went through SM with all three starters from Akala onward like this.

*_Yes. Try S.O.S method but if the starters don't have that, simply breed them (Masuda method)_*

Just get Rowlet catch any pokemon then put rowlet to PC buy poke bank put rowlet in pokebank restart game pick another starter and ya should know what to do next

Noah La Tronica Then after you restart pick litten catch pokemon put litten into pokebank restart the game and pick poplio and then get litten and rowlet out of pokebank remember that if you choose popplio hau will have litten and kukui will have rowlet and also you will get only Primarinas Z stone so pick your favorite one at the end :)

No because before entering the PokeBank you need to save the game.

Maralyne Sprader my friend, you can catch both forms in the games, but the form rockruff evolves into depends on game. So I can catch both forms in moon, but my rockruff will only evolve into the midnight form in moon/midday form in sun.
