If you want to false swipe giratina, you want a move that identifies the pokémon, like odor slueth or foresight. That way, you can hit the ghost typing with normal type moves.
Gen 5 was the only Pokemon game I played. And then I heard about USUM, so I bought that. I was a bit shocked when I learned that instead of going into a secret cave behind a town that is haunted by a monster at night to catch Kyurem, you had to go through a hyperspace interdimensional wormhole and then go into a portal with 3 rings
Well because they took out the National Dex for sun and moon, you can still get all the Pokémon into the game but if they’re not in the Alola dex they don’t have a Dex number, so the only way you could look at the full national Dex is in Pokémon Bank. They just took it further in Sword/Shield because they removed the Pokémon themselves and the ability to even have them in the game.

I'll trade you any shiny you can think of for a few good battles. Simply do random wifi battles until you fight Dio Brando and tell me any of Dio Brando's teams and if you are correct ill trade you any pokemon thats ever existed. I have all events since gen 1 and all shinies from every gen they were obtainable. This also includes moves that are only obtainable in previous generations. I literally have everything so don't hesitate to ask for something absurdly rare. I just want some battles. Thats it.

You forgot to mention: You can change which Pokemon you ride by going to Ultra Megalopolis. Like you said, it has no impact which one you choose, but one may distract players more than the other. Personally, if I'm using Lunala, I like motion controls. With Solgaleo, the circle pad is more comfortable. In case of ghost Pokemon, have a high-leveled Pokemon with Odor Sleuth or Foresight. In my case, it's a Lopunny. Have a Pokemon that can inflict sleep. It's better than Paralysis cause the Pokemon can't attack yours. Have some Dusk Balls if you're a night player or play Ultra Moon. I'd suggest having a spare ds and both games to trade to your main file. Of course, having "friends" may help, but I'd suggest you have them trade you their legendary, bring it, get the other, give both your exclusive pokemon to them, and then when they get the special third pokemon, they trade your legendary back. If you have a pokemon with Truant and the move Entrainment, use it. The battle may drag on and you don't want the foe to run out of PP. There are probably other things I'm forgetting, and Leppa Berries aren't part of it.

Lovania AKA Sans's Gengar using sleep is also better because it doesnt waste the pp of the moves of the legendary pokemon you are facing, so they dont have to use struggle and commit suicide

As mentioned above already, Latios and Latias both have a Male/Female Gender. Also, even though it's not referred to a Gender with the Male and Female Symbols, if you look up the Game Data for Solgaleo and Lunala, it mentions that Solgaleo is the Male Form of Cosmoem, while Lunala is the Female Form of Cosmoem.

Why do I have better luck finding Legendaries in No Ring Wormholes than Double Ring Wormholes?

what about using switcheroo with held item leppa berry?

As mentioned above already, Latios and Latias both have a Male/Female Gender.
Also, even though it's not referred to a Gender with the Male and Female Symbols, if you look up the Game Data for Solgaleo and Lunala, it mentions that Solgaleo is the Male Form of Cosmoem, while Lunala is the Female Form of Cosmoem.
