Hey dude! Great upload as always and I love the little edits you put in as well it’s a nice touch. Yeah, Zangief looks very scary for sure. Lots of damage and scary mix ups, but it seems he really depends on drive rush to make most of those situations happen, so it could lead to potential burnout if he keeps using it after every knockdown.
Thanks man 👊🏽💙 A friend of mine edited this video, so glad you liked the changes. Good point! He will be reliant on DR for Oki it looks like, however, the cost is very small considering it's 1.5 bars, and then you get some gauge back when they block the MP.
Really it depends on what else he needs to use gauge on too, but it will be interesting to see the best way to use/manage his drive 👍🏽

Now that we know a bit more about Zangief, I feel like drive rush heavy punch is actually a pretty good move as well. One way people might try to defeat raw drive rushes is to stick out a button, so if you can just armour through their defensive poke that's pretty cool

Yea for sure! Guile's one of the strongest characters IMO, and will probably have thee upper hand in this matchup. But if Gief gets in... It could be a wrap 😂
That's nothing new. It's been happening since SF2. But as usual once they've backed themselves into the corner or a good Gief player knows how to handle zoners/spammers it's over.
