Best Luke guide i've seen so far, its so helpful how you explain how each tool can be used to mixup your offence as well as their advantages and disadvantages.
Videos have helped a lot, learned some optimal combos from the other vids with some meaty in there and climbed from plat to diamond in a day. Appreciate them & will look out for more 👍
Thanks for the video. Bonchan, NL, Chris Wong, Kawano, Menard etc. Looks like more and more pros ditch this "busted" character in S2, so many Luke pros ditch a "busted" character they train for almost one year is weird if he really still "busted", I hope in near future every tier list could put Luke in T2~T4, he become mediocre enough in S2 Luke reminds me SF5 Ryu, a well rounded character with great combo but lack of options to get in compare with other strong characters. IMHO every strong characters(T0~T1) in S2 need to satisfy two minimum requirements 1. Versatile way to get in, you can start your oki, RSP game with great/cheap tools 2. Nice reward when your RSP game win Luke satisfy 2 in S1/S2, but he never meet 1. S1 Luke is so strong because his defense tools are very strong, this give the players more chances to use drive rush cancel to pressure their rival Even the RSP game after drive rush cancel failed, they can walk back and defense, wait for the drive gauge to recover, but this tactic become less effective in S2, play him with more raw drive rush looks like a better way in S2, but there exist other characters fit this kind of play style better than Luke
I think Luke is still very much top tier in s2. He has great buttons, amazing oki, and still elite damage. The nerfs are somewhat universal, so I don't believe Luke got much worse. Bonchan just came second at dreamhack with Luke. Other pro players experimenting with Akuma doesn't necessarily mean Luke is weak.
@@FlawlessJ535 Bonchan ditch Luke too. Players are more important than the character, Bonchan win because he is so good, he able to win the tournament with T1 bottom~T2 character
Hey Deku! Great video! This is really helpful. I think a Luke pressure video where you go over what buttons sequences and space traps Luke players should be looking to do in the corner and mid screen would be very good to see. Offense in this game is unintuitive sometimes.
This was awesome! I haven't played Luke in while, but, this certainly makes me want to pick him up again! By the way, I have two small questions about what I saw in this video. 1) Is medium uppercut the best version for Luke to use as an anti-air? 2) What does it mean when you say that throwing fireballs "keeps the opponent honest"?
You're the best, there are so few luke content creators these days! Keep fighting the good fight. Will always support a fellow luke player!
Thanks bro! Everyone's dropped him, so I feel obligated to keep it up haha

Thanks, dude! Glad it helps, and I'll keep them coming :)
This was insanely helpful btw. The drills really improved my whiff punishing reactions as someone who could pretty much never do it.
Awesome, bro! Training drills are a great way to practice these skills 👌🏽
Great guide thank you. I'm hard stuck in diamond 4 with Luke and this guide is exactly what I needed.
Thanks, man 🙏🏽❤️
very good Guide, I try to master Luke this Guide helped a lot, its difficult to save them in Muscle Memory, but it comes with time!
Thanks for the video.

I need your anti Drive impact drills bro, I remember you being so good at calling out DI with supers when I played vs you back then
Haha, thanks, man! We need to play again soon :)

By the way, I just realized where I recognize your name from: I had seen footage of your Fei Long from SF4. Your Fei rocks!
Anti air, drive rush check drill made me go to 1800mr no jk
Eyyy, sick man! That's what I like to hear :)
Great video man! If possible, can you do a guide for Luke's corner pressure since he got a good corner carry?
Thanks, bro! Sure, I'll see what I can do :)
How do You connect correctly prefects?
This video alone will get me to diamond
I hope it does 😉
