Beyond happy to get the watch Peter! So great to see the work behind it and excited to finally get a piece from you. Peter even got this delivered to me in the middle of our family trip to Disneyland. If that’s not top notch service, I don’t know what is! 👏🏽👏🏽
Appreciate you manny! Always showing support forgot to text you as I’m moving everything to new office going to send you another link so it’s less snug !!
This is the kind of content I can support - it's educational, down to Earth, and transparent without the hyperbolic packaging of most influencer content (with their theatrical expressions in each video thumbnail). Lastly, it's a nice commercial of your abilities and of your business.
Bought my first Rolex from Peter. He will tell you a million times about OCD and condition in his videos, but everyone I show my 16014 to says it’s in insane condition for being a 1985. If you want to get top tier vintage watches he is the guy. Also inspired me to start tinkering with movements and learning how to do minor work on them. Not touching my Rolex any time soon, that will be sent to him, but excited to learn more about watchmaking. Great video.
Sorry to hear they sent you a non-working watch but as usual Peter, your repair and diagnosis is nothing short of amazing! Definitely the reason Peter is the go-to guy and why I will continue to keep your number on my phone for any Rolex needs!
Phenomenal Job & Watch, I really liked your commentary! Learned something and this guy must be very happy wearing that immaculate timepiece! Subscribed
Peter, I love watching your content. It calms me so I can sleep. I have big hands, and lack the patience to do this kind of work myself, but watching you do it is therapeutic for me. Thanks for making this content!
love the vids peter keep up the good work, glad to hear your doing well, lol first edit the tape is called Kapton tape, it's used in microelectronics also.
First time watching your channel, really appreciate your style - a bit more abbreviated than most others doing the same sort of thing (we don't need to see every stage of cleaning and oiling for every watch serviced, thanks for cutting it in this video). Will definitely be checking out some more of your work. Subbed. Cheers.
Absolutely love watching Paisan Peter here work on these watches….! His expertise is outstanding…. That watch looks beautiful, wish I had it….! Another fantastic educational video…. 5 STARS Peter! ❤️💯👍 Greg
Hello Peter & Happy New Year To you & your family. I have been a Rolex Enthusiast for well over 35 years & I just happened upon your channel over the Christmas holidays and I admire how you work. ❤️ This is my first time posting on your channel. I will be back for more Rolex porn. God Bless & please stay safe, TMP from N.J. 😊
Happy new year Peter. Also, does Super Mario know that his brother Luigi is a watch maker?!😜 It's always a pleasure to watch you work, you have a great energy about you. When I finally pull the trigger and buy my first watch that costs more than £100, you are the guy I'm buying it from. Keep up the good work and blessings from England 🏴
What you're seeing under that bezel is actually a bit on the mild side. I've seen MUCH worse. One very nice thing about buying a watch with a movement issue is that's an *unplanned* sale, so often the piece itself is in better condition than usual.
Great video! You show great passion, and integrity for the watches you repair and for your customers. keep up the great work big fan hopefully one day I can purchase a sub from you. Looking forward in 2025 to see what’s on your channel. Alex from NJ
Great Job Peter! Your attention to detail is why I have followed you from the beginning. I will wait as long as the cosmos needs to align you landing a 1989. Keep going! View rates/hour are trending in the right direction. Your time is around the corner. Cheers to 2025!
Probably lint and stuff... like putting your had in our pocket all the time , same thing that builds up with iphones and samsungs phones in the nooks and crannies.
Peter the debris is body salts and solids. It is skin. Sorry… just don’t give it a lucky lick like my local watch tech. He licks the case back for luck after every service/repair
Are these Rolex's really worth the price at the end of the day? It's cool to see repairs and know you can fix them but I'm trying to know if they are worth it vs a Cartier or other brand like Tudor or Omega

Jiminy Crickets, Peter! That is a home run slam dunk! Will a restored watch like this be fairly waterproof?
yes, nothing I did would affect it, fresh gaskets throughout also help haha
Great job Pete as always
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
Excellent video again. Thank you !
Thank you

Are those hands tritium, seem a different shade to hour markers. Was the handset replaced at a service?
Hands are tritium it’s the lighting, they’re pretty much perfectly matched to the lume! I noticed that while editing😂
Great video. Cheers
Thank you! Cheers!
Definitely could have charged 8k with the fresh service and polish. Lucky customer!! Congrats on that beautiful watch. Great video.

You do good work sir, sorry let's call that excellent work! Great videos.
Thank you!
Where are the 3d printed automatic holders from?
honestly they were sent to me by a company not sure who makes them
Dude.. That is skin cells.
I thought it was garlic Parmesan cheese
pls remember me too, one day i hope to get an old rolex serviced by you to a brand new condition (thats all i can allow myself as family dude)
Beautiful watch ❤
Thanks for watching
Beautiful watch.
Agreed!
The real name is Kapton tape
Sounds right I just always search high temp polish tape always comes up😂
Superb 👏
Thanks 🤗
How did they get belly button dust under the bezel ? 😂
Previous owner must’ve been storing it in there😂
Beautiful, congrats
Great video, Peter! Question: what should one pay to have the balance wheel replaced on a Rolex Datejust II?
550+
Thanks for that info, Peter!
It’s skin, skin, skin 😂🙌🏼
Hep c shot incoming😂
Very tight bracelet, sweet looking watch!
Thanks for watching, the watch is a beast!
How do you tell the time when you're playing in the garden?
valid point, what was I thinking
You need more than 3hrs sleep! 😊 3135 is a workhorse.
Easily the BEST rolex movement, easy to work on and always reliable
It's most definitely skin; we basically replace our outer layer once a month and you probably just inhaled a few years worth of skin dust...
I think you're right, it's probably just skin dust good think I clean the bench daily😂
The name of the tape (in case anyone wants to buy it) is polyimide.
How the F*#$ do you remember in what order to put everything back? 😂😂
@@AcmeRocket literally second nature I’ve probably done 100+ 3135s at this point
What year is this?
I think it was an L or U serial
Probably lint and stuff... like putting your had in our pocket all the time , same thing that builds up with iphones and samsungs phones in the nooks and crannies.
very good point, didn't even think of that
It’s called Kapton tape.
Are any fake Rolexes good enough to be "parts watches" for genuine Rolexes? Just think of it like aftermarket parts.
They're a bit hit or miss, depends what you buy but I've seen good enough fakes out there
Peter the debris is body salts and solids. It is skin. Sorry… just don’t give it a lucky lick like my local watch tech. He licks the case back for luck after every service/repair
That is insane😂 I will not be doing that
@ he changes a lot of batteries in g-shocks. Star Wars nerd. lol.
Are these Rolex's really worth the price at the end of the day? It's cool to see repairs and know you can fix them but I'm trying to know if they are worth it vs a Cartier or other brand like Tudor or Omega
100% if your talking from a reliability, value retention & overall durability standpoint rolex is your only budget friendly option
@@Peterpic "Budget friendly" is the ironic part
automatic module holders wauw tell me more !!!

Pistol Pete with a solid start of 2025!! The one strikes again. Monster.
thank you!

thank you!
no way, you can get a working one for 6k
sell me 100 of them please.. in this condition running or not running ill buy
At 4;24 was not that little beat late broken? looks like it was missing a couple teeth.
yes the teeth had sheared off!
cannon pinion was crimped too tight causing a massive amount of force needed to spin motion works causing the setting wheel to give out.
Probably sand in the watch buddy
ehh its to compact to be sand more than likely lint or debri
