@@musicgamenewsIngat lagi boss ovela.!
Yap PAKIKIPAGKAPWA TAO is the core of good deeds in whatever aspects. It's how you interact with people with manners to define your whole internal being. It's also about social awareness and social responsibility.
i appreciate how you admire the Filipinos, kuya Ovela 🫶🫶🫶
PAKIKIPAGKAPWA AT PAKIKISAMA is common treat here in our place❤❤❤ neighborhood and i love it so much.
I strongly feel that Filipinos have the tendency to seek external validation to have that sense of pride with ourselves. I think it stems from the fact that we've lost a huge chunk of our original heritage in the past when Conquistadors purged and burnt a lot of cultural writings and artifacts to effectively subjugate our people. It's only fortunate that there are still ones that were preserved, these were the traditions, livelihood skills, poems and dances. This is a good video, quite educational.
Thanks for reacting stuffs like this...proud Filipino here .bisaya from Mindanao
God bless everyone..❤❤❤
2:57 that's me dancing! hahaha thanks for reacting to our little documentary!
You seemed to be having so much fun haha
Thank you for sharing that educational video. Festivals are everywhere in Philippines. Here in my town, we have a month long festival celebration starting December to January the next year😅. Hope u find time to visit northern Luzon on your next travel. ❤❤❤
Ovela, when I was growing up I kept hearing "Filipinos are lazy" and from where I stood that is exactly what I saw. Fast forward to 38 years later when I migrated to the US, I witnessed and knew Filipinos having 2 jobs or more ( I myself tried having 3 jobs at one time: 8-5 , 6-12mn and weekends ). I realized it had a lot to do with where these Filipinos are and the ones back home had very few opportunities to find jobs. But all that has changed now. Filipino professionals and skilled workers are in demand all over the world. In my hometown, I know for a fact that 1 out of every 3 families have at least one family member who's working in another country.
Ovela it's true it is already engrave in us
And Thank you so much for loving our culture
In the near future ...you will become Filipino 😊
GODBLESS 🙏
I highly recommend that channel I discovered it just a month ago. I suggest you react to their other content. Mikey Bustos was once a guest there too.
Thank you for the kind words Ovela and for sharing the video. ❤
Thank you for sharing our culture & traditions very much appreciated. Be Blessed & stay safe always ❤❤❤
kapwa tao = fellow human so pakikipagkapwa = to socialize, associate, connect, or affiliate between two or more persons
I’m glad I watched this, genius indeed, see you soon Ovela ❤
See you soon :)
that's why we filipinos are the greatest people in the world😊 thank you ovela for embracing us❤❤❤
Good evening kuya that was absolutely beautiful
Mabuhay all maraming salamat po ❤
Maraming salamat Mr.Ovela for reacting this video about Filipino❤❤❤have a great day😊
The best of your reactions I have been seen this is also we missed in our Philippines history class hope the bring this back in our school and university for our younger generation.
I beg to disagree sir ovela not Filipino men are lazy maybe some but most Filipinos are hardworking men it's just that our earnings are not enough because of low salary here ....
Very true, some of us were lazy but not all❤
Ganyan nga noon sa probinsya 1970 graduate sa high school college minsan hindi pa nkatapos tambay lng muna pero ng nauso ang acceleration test doon lng nakapaaral at nka abroad 1978
Not to generalize, but I believe 90% of Filipino men I know are not lazy, they are just not agitated, not tensed but they will act as needed and necessary. The Filipino men I know are the breadwinners of their family, so household chores are left to the women, still, the men are the ones doing the plumbing, carpentry, fixing electrical even after their work or on their rest days
Thank you so much for featuring Philippines and the Filipino people
I love that... Ovela, true we don't usually talk about it because it engraved in us... do it but don't say it God bless 🙏🇵🇭 🙏... ❤ you Ovela🎉
Thank you Ovela for appreciating our culture! God bless you & we love
you....❤❤❤
Pilipino engineers also have a huge contribution in building the spacecraft that they sent to space and moon.😂
Very true observation ovela san because it’s already engraved in our heart❤️🇵🇭🇯🇵
Wow, I recommend this one yesterday..
we also have backward cultures but our good culture is dominant. Thank you for this.
Sir ovela,we pilipinos are not lazy, but are just contentedof what we have,we are not looking for tomorrow,we are just contended what we have today, because we our god who give us ,what we had is to sake first his wisdom or kingdom of god his words,in the bible,
Thank you sir Ovela!! 🫶🏼
Thanks for this Mr. Ovela.
As a Filipino I can agree with Ova that “Kapwa” is already engrave in every Filipino. But I can also say that this channel is a reminder to every Filipino about their culture.
Oh my it's my first time hearing this I only use a few words of it, amazing.
Tnx for sharing this video sir, I was touched
Thank you for reacting this video.
Yes, competition should be for entertainment only, like Tawag ng Tanghalan etc hahaha
Teacher: Students, what do you wanna be when you grow up?
Pedro: I want to be a doctor, to help heal my Kapwa!
Juan: I want to be an engineer, to help build homes for my Kapwa!
Jude: I want to be a farmer, to help feed my Kapwa!
Teacher: You Protacio, what do you want to be?
Protacio: I want to be Kapwa! Para hayahay!
(Hayahay is an adjective referring to being relaxed, having it easy, or lazing around in the Bisayan language.)
Sadly, this skit also represents how lazy we Filipinos can be.
Nakagawa ako para kay Protacio🤣🤣🤣
I am a proud Filipino, although i am here in Canada recently as a PR to have better opportunities not only for myself but for my son who is also with me and my wife here but i miss the Philippines because the culture here is different from our country hoping our culture in the Philippines would reshape the culture here in Canada
Thank u Sir 🥰
Those conjugations are really interesting. Some of them don’t exist in English as concepts. What’s tricky with those conjugations is that, each of them, they express a unique relationship between the subject and the object and sometimes an observer (someone or something that is neither the subject nor the object) In English, you have to express it some other way, with longer words or phrases. That is why, in one sense, Tagalog is simpler.
👏🇵🇭🥰❤️❤️
Shay Mitchell should watch this.
wow amazing
Kapwa-tao is a very term in the Philippines.
I know now why there are many Marites in the Philippines including me because of kapwa.
Laziness is not necessarily a bad thing. It can also trigger people to be innovative, creative and efficient. I guess this is just law of duality.
❤❤❤

I am not sure where is the "Lazy Filipino men" came from. But Filipinos are generally sought after in terms of employment because they are hard working like a carabao. Maybe the "lazy" impression is coming from the view of a Filipina having a relationship or married to Filipino men. Traditionally and culturally, women are mostly doing house chores and men goes out to work. It is a casual complaint here that "my husband don't do chores at home, very lazy!". That was passed down to generations and still exists today. It is quite changing now since women are more empowered and due to economical needs of the families, both the mother and the father are in need to work.
It is customary that the father are taken cared of by the wife /kids when they come hpme ftom work.😂
PakikipagKAPWA the right term
there is another forum of this kind
title:
the Genius of the poor
i disagree that filipinos are lazy. the 1st thing you will hear from foreign employers is that filipinos are very hard working. there are some bad apples but it is the same in all nationality.
Your right dud mot all but some pilipino mem are so lazy because they stay on their parent course alot of pilipino mem stay on there parent side so they call Mama's boy.
Hindi nman masisipag ang mga kalalakihan nman mga pilipinolalo mga naoona siguro meron pero ilalilan lang .
Wrong info that Filipino men are lazy maybe few but mostly are hard working
Not all filipino men was lazy,
We are lazy? Testingin mo dn,😉
I’m sorry Ovela, but you just accepted a few Filipinos’ opinion and based on their own experiences. You cannot just make a statement and think the entire 70 million+ Pinoys (men) are lazy. You should’ve qualified your statement that not all Filipinos are lazy. You know better!
Sir ovela dont too much so good us you dont raise us filipino nko pinoy pa lnghiya😂😂😂
Hi Ovela! Thank you for your efforts to promote Filipino culture and artistry through your platform. While you’ve praised Filipinos for their kindness and relational nature, I hope this isn’t merely an attempt to appeal to the Filipino ego, as many of our people are often seeking self-validation and struggling with a sense of patriotism. This can lead to increased engagement, which might benefit your channel monetarily.
The emphasis on Filipino values like kapwa (shared identity) and bayanihan (community spirit) is often overstated, as these traits are universal and found in many cultures. Having lived in Europe for nearly 30 years, I’ve observed that kindness, relationality, and cooperation are not exclusive to Filipinos; they are human traits.
Filipinos are welcoming to foreigners, often due to a colonial mentality that places other races, especially white ones, on a pedestal. However, this openness contrasts sharply with how Filipinos often treat each other, where social status heavily influences behavior. There is a tendency to be depreciating or dismissive toward those perceived as lower on the social ladder.
A closer look at daily life in the Philippines, including our political culture and societal interactions, reveals a more complex reality. The country faces significant challenges such as social inequality, inadequate education, and widespread poverty, pushing many Filipinos to seek opportunities abroad to support their families. Your perspective might still be influenced by the “honeymoon phase” of your relationship with the country. Over time, you may come to see the Philippines as just one of those affordable and less complicated third-world countries, with its own set of struggles. Peace!
Dha....
On the point that somebody told you that Filipino men are too lazy. I beg to disagree. Yes, of course, there are lazy men and women amongst us Filipinos, but in general, Filipino men are extremely hardworking. This is why in the Philippines, we have a term called "KAYOD KALABAW" which means "To work ashard as a water buffaloo." This term originated from the fact that the Philippines is a highly agricultural country and the carabao / kalabaw (a type of water buffaloo) is the animal that assists farmers in ploughing the fields in preparation for planting. And because of our highly relational culture, Filipino men work extremely hard in order to provide not just for themselves but for their families as well. On your next trip to the Philippines, observe that we do not have nursing homes or aged care homes for our elderly. That is also because Filipino men (and women as well) believe that it is our responsibility to take care of our aging parents. So most of our old parents live with us. Most Fiipino men, not all, but most Filipino men are extremely hardworking.
Again, there will be rotten apples among us, but that is to be expected because we live in an imperfect and sinful world.
So whoever it was who told you that Filipino men are too lazy to work, clearlyhas a very limited experience with Filipino men, and very narrow-minded perspective on Filipino men.
Let me guess? The person who told you that was a Pinay / a Filipina? Hahaha!
Just so you know, take every Filipina's words with a grainof salt when it comes to theur opinion on Filipino men.
A lot of Filipina women, and this is the truth, are dreaming of bagging / marrying an AFAM (foreigner). This desire is influenced by western media and even a lot of Korean Dramas where foreign men are presented to be more handsome, more rich and more secure.
So again, whenever you hear a Filipinas complain about Filipinos, take it with a grain of salt.
Immerse yourself amongst Filipinos for a longer period of time and make a first-hand evaluation of our people.
I beg to disagree on the said filipino men are lazy.
Big no! I believe in every country there's no similar life status, no 100% similar attitude and no 100% similar life perspective.
Usually even other fil men who don't have complete education, they're the most dedicated, gentle, hardworking, heartworking, industrious, respectful, submissive, respectful and creative to win a happy-lucky family or to be productive in life.
If someone said that to you, Possibly she's not just into filipino men in term of breeding or she just made it as an excuse to never into peso earning that's why she did not see the total great core value and great attitude of filipino men.
Inshort, there's no lazy people in philippines especially fil men cos our old to now culture has been always pretty clear and stable on
"Men is the root of the family who needs to function as much as he can in any way to have a productive family."
And that's what philippines has until now.
"Mostly filipinos esp fil men are into capable of doing everything but in a chill and lowkey way" (PERIOD)
I drop this opinion not bcos Im a filipina I need to cover co-filipino men, but I do this because fil men don't deserve hate, judgment and false info about them from those other filipinas who do not like them in term of income wise or blood to be multipled.
*_salamat kuya O!_*
