Because the show takes small claims cases from the docket by agreeing to pay the judgements. The litigants are flown to the show, put up in a hotel, and meals covered at the show's expense. That's how both parties are compensated (remember it's not a real court). The show gets content in return for covering these expenses - that's how all of these court shows work.

😳 That "mother" is one treacherous individual. My mouth dropped open hearing what she put her kids through with no remorse. I hope that the daughter NEVER allows this toxic person back in her or her kids lives
If you're a parent, the one thing you don't want is for things between yourself and your child to get to the point where your child wants nothing to do with you ever again, your child doesn't want their own kids to ever have anything to do with you ... That's the last thing you want as a parent. In this case, the end says it all. The mother didn't even care that she would never see her daughter or grandkids ever again. The daughter saw no difference between past and future, with her mother not in her life. That's as sad as it gets. The mother in this case had no business having children. The court isn't the only thing the mother had contempt for. I wish there was a way for me to be there for the daughter.

“Your claim is dismissed for contempt and being a crackhead” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 and was she about to say the judge was kinda like judge Mathis
☠☠😂😂😂
Just because you have children doesn't make you a mother apparently the lady has some issues probably something stemming from her childhood
Whew Lord put your hands on these kids 😢
That’s sad!! I know people are quick to say, “That’s your mother; you only get one!” It’s sooooo true; please take it from someone whose mother is no longer here... but, with a mother, such as the defendant, how is possible to honor her? She has caused so much trauma to her children. I pray for healing. 🙏🙏
Amen
Your comment was a good one. Definitely have to pray.
All mother's aren't equal, and some were never meant to be mothers..
@@anikataylor9419, so true.
@@naliaacevedo2500, thank you. I guess the truth made it good.🙂
There are no words to describe the disgust that I have for that mother. Deplorable would be a understatement. Her arrogance and lack of responsibility cannot be measured.
I wish the best for the young lady and her siblings.
This is the type of person that you have to love from a distance…it’s just sad that it happens to be her Mother. Blessings to the daughter & her family 🙌🏾🙏🏾
This is bye far the worse case I've ever seen a Heartless Mother of 8 children with no remorse or sympathy for anything she has taken her children through...The daughter have the mind and capability of taking on her children and siblings and still facing uphill battles with her own Mother .... A lesson learned and I'm very proud of the daughter for over coming her mother terrible ways and starting her own successful path and blessing for noT ending up like her mother I wish the daughter and her siblings the best of luck and all high blessing🙏🏾
How can that woman not have any remorse for all the damage and heartbreak she has caused her children 🤦♀️
And the mother standing there with a smirk on her face like she did a good thing
wow MAJOR props to the plaintiff. At surface level she appears to have come out of all this just fine. I wish nothing but the best for her
Lord what kind of mama does this woman have. Some ppl don't need kids
He dismissed her case for being contempt and a crackhead I’m thru
This defendant is a sorry case for a mother. Not much else to say here.
She’s not wrong for suing
Whose not wrong
My heart goes out to that angel 😇.
The daughter is a blessing to her brothers and sisters God will bless her
I usually see parents regretful. I never seen someone act this way. wow
I really hope that Judge Mathis took this young lady to the side and helped her and some type of way even get a nice place to live or a vehicle or something... I hope that he blessed her
Dang this hurts. I feel horrible for that young lady. Bless her for finding her way and bossing up!
So sad. Mom had no mothering vibe about her. Smh.
SMH, what bothers me is the mothers response during the case. She had no remorse for being absentee. Glad uncle Mathis put her in her place.
JM: “what a shame”
The defendant: “ I’m not ashamed”
Sad
She Should be ashamed
One of the few times where Mathis not liking someone turns out good
I hate this for her. Out of all the moms one could have, she got this donkey. I don’t even know what it feels like to not have a mother who cares for me and loves me unconditionally. Heartbreaking isn’t the word. Proud of this girl, she is the $hit for coming out so wholesome 🔥❤️
Carl, be thankful and GRATEFUL, that you have a mother that loves and care for you. Your circumstances, could have been a lot DIFFERENT.
@@Imissyoulou Amen.
Dam! This is just sad and pathetic that her mom doesn't seem to be remorseful about anything.
Yup..she is very selfish n cold 🥶
The mother must be jealous of her own daughter, because even after being a crack head and dead beat mother, their is no reason she should treat her that way. They could’ve revived their relationship. Smh
It’s because the daughter doesn’t enable her, she tells her she is wrong, she’s more responsible than her mother… so her mother doesn’t like her.
Yup I agree
I absolutely love the daughter. This so called mom failed her but in spite of that her daughter decided to make a good life for herself and her siblings. Not everyone should be called mom.
All humor aside...this is very saddening.
May God bless that lady she has a divine heart.
My mother & I may bump heads for petty things but thank GOD for my mother whom I love dearly!! I couldn't imagine having such a nasty mother like her. Pathetic individual!!
I'm glad Judge chastised her like that because she had that dang smirk on her face like she was having fun. Sickening
“Yours is dismissed for contempt & for being a crackhead”😂😂😂😂
What a sorry excuse for a mother! So sad for the kids
I love Judge Mathis. Watching him gets me through my 4 hours of dialysis
Wow… I used to sit at dialysis with my mom from like 4-9 bored out of my mind! 😩 I pray blessings and healing over…🙌🏾
@@stayhydrated8321 thank you sweetie I accept all of Gods anointed prayers and blessings. On a lighter note these TH-cam streets has help me get through some of my darkest times
She is a sorry excuse for a mother
Even if she was in 10 foster homes like the mother said... that's no better
Right! Like what’s the difference!
Wow, the judge saw right through that “Suzy-homemaker” look she stood there with. He was right, too! BOOM!!! 🤯 The truth came out….what an unremorseful attitude!
The drugs didn't make her that way that's definitely who she is. I've personally met ppl who were on crack years before I was born and non of them are sociopathic in this way
I just want to say a prayer for all the little kids just like her that did not ask to be brought in this world but yet they were abandoned and let down. Sending you so much love sincerely.
This vintage JM right here. Hold her accountable 💯
That lady don’t deserve to be called mother 🤦🏽♀️😤
When a mother doesn't want to be a mom
The plantiff is a beautiful person and God will bless her for her kind spirit and respect for her mother. Thank you JM for keeping it real on the defendant. The defendant is clearly not in denial, she is shameless for her conduct.
Why would the mother agree to go on this show? She's making a fool of herself on TV for the world to see.
@@c.r.3497 my guy or girl, I know how the show works. My point is, no trip to Chicago and having my tab paid is worth this level of embarrassment.
To answer more directly, it's pretty apparent that this woman has no shame. I've seen several cases where no self-respecting person would air out their nonsense on TV, but I'm guessing the trip and the potential money are enough for some people.
This young lady's story is heartbreaking 😢 she got alot of passion and attitude about being sued. Shoulda put the same energy into her 8 kids smh
I just want to hug her. 30? I only went to one and I was traumatized. I can't even imagine.
We need a update on this Case
The defendant was being, contempt with the judge she lost her case.
When the judge start talkin low to the defendant I knew he was bouta get on her lol.. that’s how my grandma do me when she mean business
"Its been like that my whole life who cares " It's so crazy when a mother doesn't love her child but that unconditional hate causes pressure and when that pipe bost a phenomenal woman is born. I love that the daughter broke that chain ⛓️ it ain't easy speaking from experience. Be blessed and hug your kids tell them you love them it make a tremendous difference!!!
She should've been thankful that her daughter took the kids where they didn't have to go in the system
