- The plaintiff says she has a child with the defendant, and she claims he and his new wife kidnapped her daughter and then told Child Protective Services that she duct-taped her child and fed her alcohol. She’s suing for defamation. The defendants say the plaintiff’s mother is raising the child, and they claim the child doesn’t feel safe in the plaintiff’s home. They deny kidnapping the child and they’re countersuing for defamation and emotional distress.

My friends real mom is technically her step mom. But she’s the mom who STEPPED UP AND STAYED. I’m adopted and can tell you, the parent who stayed and supported you is your real parent. Baby girl has at least one mama who will do right by her, the fact she didn’t birth her has very little to do with this

I have watched this video over and over. Probably one of my favorite cases. In my opinion, the plaintiff’s mother was part of the reason why she lost the case. I applaud the defendant’s wife stepping in to speak up for her husband. She advocated for her stepdaughter.

1. If the daughter was scared to go home, why didn’t they call the police?
2. Why he don’t want custody of his daughter if he feels like she is being abused?
3. What are the dates on those charges the wife brought up?
4. The 4th to the 15th is 11 whole days to not make one single phone call to an attorney or the police yourself to file charges or a report of abuse.
All these folks playing games. Cause why this woman get all her kids back? If she is not fit, then sue for custody of your child.

The defendants didn’t need to call the police because the mother had already called them and the abuse was being investigated, hence DHR report. The defendants let the plaintiff hang herself.

What doesn't makes sense is until the child was reported missing they had all intentions of returning her to an alleged abusive home. He said he spoke with her on July 4th and mentioned nothing about the burn. Idk this whole situation sounds a mess for those kids ... the mother side and father side included.
For the record you can kidnap your own child especially when they take the child out of state and do not return the child when they were suppose to. And you can go to prison for it.

I’m just really trying to understand why they are sharing custody/visitation with the grandmother instead of getting full custody of the children themselves. the 1st sentence i heard reminded me of when my dad technically kidnapped me(he only had partial custody and was only allowed weekends and some holidays w my brother and i) and claimed my mom was abusin me(which she was) but she managed to disprove this as at the time beatin ur child wasnt illegal(it still isnt technically, unless its excessive). sad this is my mom regained custody and then blamed this whole thing on me even tho my dad told me that she agreed to leave me in his care for my 1st year of highschool(i assumed it was bc i wasnt allowed to walk during my 8th grade graduation, which was bc of my grades) and then he pressured me into talkin bout my home life w my mom after i had a random panick attack and the doctor recommended therapy. to which i told him, after multiple attempts of questionin me bc obviously as a child of abuse im not gonna want my abuser to get hurt or in trouble(especially bc i believed i deserved it), that she had beatin me w hangers(she once broke a hanger on me), belts(sometimes w studded ones), cords(largest she ever got was an HDMI cord and i think that was only once), her hands, that shes choked me/held her hands around my neck twice, that she yelled at me multiple times(how she regrets havin me, that wish she aborted me, about the abuse my dad put her through, the abuse my gma/her mom put her through, that bc of me she didnt have a childhood bc she was 15 turnin 16 when she had me, etc.), that shes threatened "i brought u into this world, i can take u outve it", broke walls bc she was mad at us(us bein my siblings and i), and i think thats all. bc this was essentially he siad she said/testomony w barely any evidence they p much ruled in her favor. accordin to my mom i testified but all i remember was bein dressed up in my old church clothes(i was small growin up so i could still fit them) and told i wasnt allowed to go in and sat next to my gma/dads mom, my dads gf kids, and one of my aunts/dads sisters. everyone else went in(includin my mom and brother, hes a yr younger than me and i can only assume that he said that none of this happened but honestly he was and still is her favorite so he rarely got beat or yelled at by her. only time i could think of was when he randomly beat the shit outve me for literally no reason and got in trouble and i dont even think he was beat jus yelledd at). now my dad isnt a saint, he married my mom when she was turnin 17 and him 24 or 25(i believe??? both of their bdays r after mine so im unsure as to which age, but he was definitly in his 20s) and was mildly neglectful of me and extremly neglectful to my brother(he also used to be physically abusive to him when we were little and i vaguely remember him gettin arrested for it) and has been to jail about 3 or 4 times in my life. but i think its tellin id rather live with a neglectful father and an extremely religious gma(his mom, im also p sure she doesnt like me bc i "never listened to her" when i was displayin autism and ADHD symptoms. undiagnosed obv) than my mother who was also neglectful(not jus to me but to all of her kids, i handled my siblings emotional state and was eventually was tasked w feedin them 50-60% of the time once i got to 7th grade as i was "old enough to learn to cook", which was her reasoning) as she spend most of her time holed up in her room and "smoked to cope"(i dont deny she had truama but she projected that onto my siblings and i) and wanted to be left alone and was also physically and emotionally abusive. it says alot when ur children actively hide from u bc they dont want to be yelled at jus bc ur mad(which she usually did to my youngest brother and i, i feel like she subconsciously targeted us bc a. we both look the most like our dads. my dad who she hates and his dad who uh. . . offed himself in front of her. and b. bc of the neurodivergence symptoms we displayed. me w ADHD and autism and him w ADHD). bc of her most of my siblings and i dont have v good relationships(w the exception of my full brother, that on both her and our dad playin favorites. i bein my dads, and him bein hers)

This was satisfying to see this woman cry because she lost. Loser, liar, and a bad mother. Most girls are growing up in homes, being abused by the mother, then the mother will blame the dad, by making up all sorts of lies to get the man locked up, as she cries and play as the victim, only to later tell her daughter that her dad left them, because he didn't love them, and that he left for another woman. I'll clip this ending and store it in my archives.

The step mother is vindictive and truly more concerned about winning the man over the mother. After every sentence she spoke she stared the mother down with a smug look. I feel like the judge missed the mark and really didn’t give the mom & grandmother a fair shot. God bless the baby though!

Not sure i agree something not right about either, the grandmother is not fully forthcoming with daughter either, and the burn happened under grandmothers care, they filed a report slandered mother, you cant say anything is true if it was found unfounded, not sure i like the father at all if meant to return a child court ordered its a breach, and mother paid for camp no compensation for that. This there was wrong on both sides.

The child stated she didn't like going home bc of the chaos involving the biological mother's boyfriend. The mother's boyfriend is problematic and the mother is allowing it
