Larry Johnson was a pretty decent player. He and Alonzo Mourning got into it, became fierce rivals and started hating each other. They broke the nucleus of that Charlotte team up because of that. That's when Alonzo went to the Miami Heat. Those early 90's Hornets teams were really good.

I hated those UNLV squads back in the day, but I have to say, that cockiness, that swagger, and the way the could back it up - it did make them entertaining, and that's what it's all about, right? Look (3:36/5:55) at Magic buddying up to Zeke a few months after he went behind his back and lobbied to keep him off the Dream Team. What an underhanded move by Magic.
This was when Isaiah and Magic were still cool. A few months later Isaiah would he snubbed from the Dream Team, which caused a rift in their friendship for over 20 years until a couple years ago when they finally made up.
He was already snubbed from the dream team. The team was already announced in September 1991. Magic was already picked before he announced his HIV status in November 1991.

Another “what if” injury prone destroyed career. Now this is who I compare Zion Williamson to. However, Zion’s leaping ability is much greater.
I agree... he was a beast before his injuries... afterwards he was another jumpshooting forward... if he stayed healthy who knows what he and Alonzo would have accomplished in Charlotte...
agree with ur comparison
Agreed!
Zion has an even higher risk of injury because he is much heavier and jumps higher. Those knees aren't gonna last forever
I agree, if Zion loses some of that weight he will have less chances of injuries but this is a much less physical era of the NBA so he may become a great
Great young players coming in to NBA at that time like LJ, Kemp, Shaq, Coleman, Steve Smith, Zo, C. Web, and many more.
