Hi Neil brother! How are you man? I thought that these are pretty cool and everything but a pass for me personally as I would get bored with it relatively quickly compared to the price. I found it amusing that everyone was losing their minds over this, because motorcycle RC's weren't anything new although losi did make improvements of course. I guess a lot of people had never seen one before by the reaction it got. After I saw the first few videos, I knew I wouldn't be getting one. It behaves the same as most every bike I've ever seen. It's really particular about the surfaces it runs well on too which also kind of limits it usage. But to anyone really into bikes and has a large and smooth enough place to run one will probably enjoy it a lot. 😁Great video as always my friend! 💯 🤜 🤛
@riffraffsrc Hey Riff, what's up brother! I think you are right, a lot of the hype came from folks who never saw an RC motorcycle before. I know the SkyRC has been out for a bit but it's not easy to get in the US and parts would be the big question. When folks on the fence saw a bike from a US based company, that was it. I'm eager to get this thing out. I didn't want to post the video until I saw Losi starting the push this out more. Glad to see that start happening.
@mark675 Yup, got it right on the run video😊 But let's talk about the good that was shown in the video, pretty sure it was more than the battery cable😊
Nice you got one bro! I wanted one originally but with waiting on availability i kinda lost the hype. Its really cool but I'm wondering if it will get a little boring after a while but im glad you got one to get your opinion. Hope you can get alot of runs in and hear your final thoughts. Looking forward to bashing videos 👍🏻
@cwatson42785 Hey Chris! I don't think you are the only one that feels that way too. They totally under estimated this. Someone at HH needs to start up a real focus group to capture what really moves the RC needle.
The only time I can remember an RC car had pre-orders like the Losi Promoto MX which is in the 6 figures from what the Horizon rep said. Is the Original Losi Mini T released in 2003. It was sold out everywhere for almost a year. It was the Cabbage Patch Kids of the future. Losi knew the Promoto was going to be a hit but they dropped the ball even after the Mini T issues they didn't learn from it. I ordered the green one in June first pre-orders and still have not seen it or have any ETA. Ever since Horizon has bought out almost every RC company everything has gone to sh*t. They forced us to buy RCs with Spektrum electronics that they knew we would be removing. The customer service has gone downhill. They have even left Amain Hobbies in the dark for the pre-order ETA because Amain is a competitor of Horizon. That's messed up. They need to be taught a lesson like what happened to Budlight, lol.
I don't see Amain as a direct competitor to Horizon. In my view, Amain operates as an online retailer, while Horizon Hobby primarily focuses on owning and distributing the products they sell to retailers.
@jguillermoii Well ofc they are a direct competitor as you can order straight from Horizon as im sure they would prefer. I think alot of the horizon rcs you order from Amain are just drop shipped direct from horizon to the customer and Amain gets a cut
@FarmerFpv 2003 that was my Tamiya days😊 Same here, I order mine 11a on the day it released and still did not get filled in the first batch, crazy! HH biggest issues was when they started revamping their site the first time a few years back and most recently this past summer. They didn't learn from the first upgrade to the system and this last one was much worse. I would like to say it will get better but I said that the last time too.
But no one talks about the thousands of orders no one getting theirs ordered on line, it’s hitting six months waiting, while some can walk in and buy them ,, horizon has brought up all the hobby brands ???thers chatter saying the money from people’s orders is being used to fund war and trafficking?.
It's worth the hype and when they come out with a street bike on the same platform it's gonna be bananas!
@Livlifetaistdeth Street bike is going to be insane!
The Losi Pro Moto has to be the hottest RC of all time. So much so that other new releases just don’t hit the same.
@cbfly01 Soo true!
I'm thinking , its time for the return of Knievel!
@Blimpus Hell yeah!
I agree
Same problem with the leaking shocks😂
I love my MOTOPRO MX, would LOVE to see LOSI come out with a PROMOTO GP, they will sell out FAST!
@MARKLINMAN1 Right!
For a second I thought you had the first promoto street conversion... I'd bet one is coming at some point. Salute!
@Daywalker_Lee I hope so and the better have the inventory to keep up😆
Ready Set, thanks for showing both bikes, give them both their own video so you ca n demo how they perform. Seen the promoto VS SkyRc bike . 💥💥
@sparetimerc I like that idea!
Im glad i got one in the first batch, the pressure is on them to get these out so OC issues dont surprise me.
@spenn2007 So true!

the battery cables should go inside the exhaust to keep them out of the way

@ReadySetRC oh yeah absolutely, great video as usual 👌

Weak parts: chain and crash structure.
@jguillermoii Too early for me to speak on that but we will have to see.

@rastanonascension5246 A lot to unpack here.
