Hi just brought the new steel axle but it's short do I have to upgrade the hubs or not please help and I was watching step by step of ur video on how to change them
Where did you order these steel axels from? I just bought a maxx the other day and after running it twice one rear axle and one front axle snapped and I can see the other two are twisted. Do you know if that is a common issue? What is the blue piece called where you replace the bearings? Are those upgraded ones? Mine are just black plastic.

Broke the stock drive shafts the same way. Upgrade to the steel stuff and never look back.
Hi I bought my traxxas maxx and after 4 days the ESC turned on the four red lights, is there any way to solve that? I like your channel and I see that you have a lot of information about the maxx
From what I know, that might be an indicator that your ESC is toast. I would contact Traxxas and see what they have to say about it! You may also try to re-program it and see if that does the trick! The Traxxas web site has lots of help in the "news" section and you can also try the "community" section! Good Luck brother! Should be no problem getting it fixed.
Hey does anyone know what size bearings those are? I am having a hard time finding them
For both Front and Rear Carrier bearings for Traxxas Maxx V2: Inner bearing part # 5120A 12x18x4mm, comes in a set of (2). Outer bearing part #5099A 6x16x5mm, comes in a set of (2). The 5120As are $8.00 and the 5099As are $4.00. Hope this helps out brother!
I can screw the screw in as hard as I want, but the pin still slips out. I don't know why, does anyone have a clue?
