Nicki Barclay ironically I prefer Superman to Batman, but I agree that the journey non-superppwered people must go through to be heroes is far more compelling. Even in the arrowverse look at Oliver's journey compared to someone like superman or the flash, though those two did have to lose 1 or 2 parents before they became heroes, but still they were instantly given powers where Oliver and Sara had to study and learn.

Yes! Caitlin Snow is such a badass and I loved the phrase "whether she shows up holding a scalpel or an icicle we'd be glad to have her watching our back", it couldn't be more true, wish her show would appreciate her more.
She's overrated she's the doctor of someone who can heal himself and only does stuff when other people get hurt. She doesn't deserve top 3, I would put her at 10 or honorable mention. I'm so glad Caitlin was on this. Besides being extremely smart, but still dorky and lovable, her Killer Frost story arc was probably the best (or really, only good thing) that came out of season 3. Although, I think Whit canary should've been number one and Kara number two.

Yeah, she deserves the number two spot. The time on Arrow you are appreciating is when she spent most of her time dying and basically being the relationship fueler for Laurel and Oliver and later Oliver and Felicity. Kara was her own hero from the start to finish. So her being the first female superhero in the Arrowverse doesn't automatically give her the number one spot. Firsts are not always the best, but they paved the way for greater things. Sara is still badass, but when it comes to the development of Supergirl's journey compared to Sara who spent most of her time as a guest star and the other times as just another Legend before she was the lead, well the winner is obvious.

3. Alex because she is both very smart ( PHD in Bioengeering) and can kick ass without powers. she also is very brave her coming out was one of the best on tv .

I'm so glad Caitlin was on this. Besides being extremely smart, but still dorky and lovable, her Killer Frost story arc was probably the best (or really, only good thing) that came out of season 3.

Hardly. She is basically the female Ryker for most of her time on the Arrowverse. Supergirl is much better as a character.
Xander M excuse me honey she was the first woman superhero ever in the Arrowverse, other than Thea, the original Black Canary, changed the situation for female superheroes on TV so no, she's more badass than Supergirl and a much more intresting character and she deserves more respect.
Yeah, she deserves the number two spot. The time on Arrow you are appreciating is when she spent most of her time dying and basically being the relationship fueler for Laurel and Oliver and later Oliver and Felicity. Kara was her own hero from the start to finish. So her being the first female superhero in the Arrowverse doesn't automatically give her the number one spot. Firsts are not always the best, but they paved the way for greater things. Sara is still badass, but when it comes to the development of Supergirl's journey compared to Sara who spent most of her time as a guest star and the other times as just another Legend before she was the lead, well the winner is obvious.

dominic trotter Yearh the new Black Canary is just out for revenge, Laurel would have never put a vengance over the City, nor would she have hurt her friends, Dinah might have powers and is more skilled but none of that makes her a badass if she dosn’t have the heart of a hero, wich Laurel did, she worked hard to earn the respect of those around her, and actually had to work to become the Black Canary.
Samantha Faye Yas, and Dinah dosn’t even have a reason to be called the Black Canary, like Laurel did, it has no meaning to her, Laurel had to earn the title, she had to overcome a lot of stuff, but always kept on seeing the best in those around her, Laurel was ten times the hero Dinah claims to be.
I agree I think the writers just wanted a team member to become black canary to quickly and just because she had the “ canary scream” doesn’t means she gets the automatic right of calling herself black canary
