Its not really the best reason, but the success of his show is the reason for all these spin off shows, so we cannot completely ignore it, but I think he should be number one because he is more dark, gritty, and he is more realistic about fighting all these bad guys, I mean it's tough to fight so hard every day with bullets flying at you, so he should act like it's tough, right? Plus he has all these kick ass moves that he learned from training and barry got lucky that the particle accelerated affected him.
Molly Frost Iris is not a bad ass. The closest thing she’s done to being a bad ass is jumping off a building to save Barry a few episodes ago. That’s about it. She’s done nothing impressive so far other than that.
Oliver Queen was the genesis of the silver screen superhero revival. He represents what Nolan's batman represented to the film industry, a resurgence in superhero entertainment. Not to mention, the dark nature of Arrow is more realistic and gritty, allowing for more emotion to be evoked in the viewer. Ollie gets 1
Actually that was Smallville!!! Smallville was like Nolan's DKT for the silver screen. Arrow got a lot of it's ideas from Smallville and a lot of the writers and producer who worked on Smallville started Arrow. Because of Green Arrows popularity on Smallville. It was the logical next step for the silver screen.
Man_of_Tomorrow True, episodes are very much the same. Clark Kent would fight off different enemies each episode with an underlying storyline which carries on through the season just like Arrow, Flash, Supergirl etc. Same exact concept, just different characters

He is the best hero, maybe not most powerful. Flash is most powerful cuz he has powers. Otherwise arrow takes the cake. Arrow survived five years in hell, and made so many more sacrifices than flash ever could

I understand that lots of people dont like the CW shows because they are cheesy. But you have to keep in mind that the shows are based off of cheesy comics, with cheesy characters. If the shows were not cheesy, than they wouldnt hold true to their comic book counter parts.
Not only that, but there's limits to what can be done on network TV. The shows all have to follow a certain pace and formula and it's limited. That being said, the CW stuff does about the best it can while having to adhere to network TV limitations.
Cheesy, I understand. It's the reliance on melodrama and the inconsistent quality of the writing and choreography that holds it back from something like "Agents of SHIELD," which is cheesy done right (and without the overblown sex and violence of the Netflix shows). That being said, I also enjoy watching the Arrowverse shows as well.
Kingslayer I think Season 1 of the Flash was exceptional TV, but the show stood on the shoulders of Arrow. Since season 1 of the Flash, the show has steadily dipped in quality. Season 1& 2 of Arrow were the best 2 years of tv I've seen.
The Arrowverse involves DC characters, yes. But they are definitely not the same thing. Otherwise, Grant Gustin would be the Flash in Justice League instead of Ezra Miller, Superman would either be Henry Cavill in Supergirl or Tyler in Man of Steel, the upcoming Batman movie would not have Deathstroke as the antagonist, and they would occasionally mention things from the movies in the shows. Saying that the Arrowverse is the same thing as the DCEU would be like saying the 2003 Daredevil is a part of the MCU.

@Tiny Korra Oliver is the main character. From what I could gather, they are important because of their power. They are arguably the two most powerful heroes in CW's roster. Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl are the CW's trinity. (Well, Black Lightning or Batwoman might replace GA soon due to recent events.) Kara and Barry don't beat Olie in importance. They are, for the most part, equal.
while I like all the shows in the arrowverse they definitely aren't killing the MCU shows in my opinion especially the Netflix shows but a again everyone has different taste.

Jet X Sarah was never called Black Canary, Laurel was the first one to be called that. This is because she had to be her own hero, she couldn't become a new Sarah/The Canary.
Zgogo Keke Cat is able to inspire and was who Kira would go to for advice. Her honesty and experience are what make her an asset. At the same time, she can cut anyone down with her words. Her words are her weapon. She also can't be intimidated easily, as seen with Silver Banshee.

Tyler Hoechlin's Superman may have already won everyone's hearts, but having only appeared in two episodes, he doesn't have enough impact on the TV universe. Unless "Supergirl" is called "Superman", Superman really shouldn't be on this list. But that doesn't mean I don't acknowledge how great CW's Superman is.

I understand that lots of people dont like the CW shows because they are cheesy.
But you have to keep in mind that the shows are based off of cheesy comics, with cheesy characters.
If the shows were not cheesy, than they wouldnt hold true to their comic book counter parts.

Not only that, but there's limits to what can be done on network TV. The shows all have to follow a certain pace and formula and it's limited. That being said, the CW stuff does about the best it can while having to adhere to network TV limitations.

Cheesy, I understand. It's the reliance on melodrama and the inconsistent quality of the writing and choreography that holds it back from something like "Agents of SHIELD," which is cheesy done right (and without the overblown sex and violence of the Netflix shows). That being said, I also enjoy watching the Arrowverse shows as well.

The Arrowverse involves DC characters, yes. But they are definitely not the same thing. Otherwise, Grant Gustin would be the Flash in Justice League instead of Ezra Miller, Superman would either be Henry Cavill in Supergirl or Tyler in Man of Steel, the upcoming Batman movie would not have Deathstroke as the antagonist, and they would occasionally mention things from the movies in the shows. Saying that the Arrowverse is the same thing as the DCEU would be like saying the 2003 Daredevil is a part of the MCU.

They are, for the most part, equal.

Tyler Hoechlin's Superman may have already won everyone's hearts, but having only appeared in two episodes, he doesn't have enough impact on the TV universe. Unless "Supergirl" is called "Superman", Superman really shouldn't be on this list.
