Just got my Ninja Woodfire grill and having no experience with grilling or smoking, thought I would start with chicken thighs (so if I ruined them wouldn't be such a big expense!). Found your video and followed your instructions and WOW - the best chicken thighs I ever ate! So unbelievably juicy & smoky with a crispy skin. The family definitely wants these again. :) Thanks for sharing!
Great video mate!! That noise you made when grabbing the meat probe made me laugh as its the exact same noise I make every time I think it won't be too hot to pull out with my fingers!! 😂
Nice Review there Brotha Gator👏🏽👊🏽👍🏾. Love ♥mine and have been Cooking and Experimenting Also. Thanks for ALL the Tips‼‼‼‼You got a Link for that Bluetooth Temp Probe ⁉⁉⁉
ACE Hardware... I think it was the "Grill Mark" brand. But I would suggest not putting it directly on the grill surface. That's why I bought one of those "oven mat" things and trimmed it down to fit my grill plate and put the grate on that so as to not hurt my nonstick surface.
Okay here are the Ninja WoodFire grill facts.... :/ From San Antonio Texas BBQ capital. ^_^ Consider that the convection fan will increase the cooking effect. On Grill High is 500 Deg. On Grill Med. is 470 Deg. On Grill Low. is 375 Deg.
@@TheGatorPit605 It has a tendency to really overcook very rapidly on the grill setting. 500 deg. in convection and the steak recipes cook times are ridiculous. But of course, you know that right?
Guess I haven't noticed though I usually use my temp probes and go by temp more than time... I can't really say I've had any of my cooks that have come out dry... all of them have stayed juicy.
I got the "pro version" so yes that comes with a temp probe . It works GREAT.... I just also have a Bluetooth probe so I can monitor it from inside the house.
One "advantage" of having the "built-in" probe is you can set it to cook/smoke/grill things to a certain temp instead of just going by time and "guesstimating" the temp
Yeah that's what they call it ... if you look on their site the "basic" version is just the grill but the "pro" version has the built in temp probe plug in socket and includes the probe

Glad you found it helpful ... I'm new to the "smoking-thing" too ... this unit makes it SO easy! Enjoy the experimentation
Thanks bro, very helpful!
Wouaw magnifique 😊
Great video!
Thank you
If I don’t fill pellet feed fully it won’t hardly ignite, no issues with half full pellets? It ignites them from the top.
Nice job
Thank you
Thighs are my wife’s favorite and these look awesome 🤤
They are very good, thanks

Every SINGLE time ....lol... at least I'm not alone! Thanks for the comment and for watching my videos!

Thanks! As for a link I just picked mine up off of Amazon ... it's and InkBird Hybrid Thermometer
Where did you get that mini grill grate to set the chicken on?

Why did you put your chicken on before going through the pre-ignition process??
Since the chicken only takes 1/2 hr ish ... I wanted to get every bit of the smokeyness that I can .... I do that on short cooks
@@TheGatorPit605 Thank you...I will give it a try! 😁

Is there a question about that?

im confused... do you have a temp probe built into your woodfire?

What do you do when your pellets run out before your smoking is done?
that chicken didn't look completely cooked to me...Maybe if was just the lighting ?
Just lighting ... I tempt it ... always do with chicken 😎
Naration is horible.
Thanks for the feedback. Guess I won't be on Food Network any time soon... 🤣😅🤣
