It might be because of the chains. The initial problem I had, was that 19 was WAY to much more chains than what you need. You need to get from 13 to 15 chains to get it right.

i would probably use a 3/3.5mm hook! the front and back panels should be 25 rows, 4 rows for the top and bottom part of the front panel and then 17 for the sides

You can grab the end of the yarn from the middle or use another roll (if you have it) of the same color
another way is to switch, make the second one first and cut it off then make the first and continue on
you can cut it! just when you return to side 1 reconnect the yarn with a magic knot (if you don't know how to make it just search it's really easy)

Help when i try to make a single stitch the piece gets shorter and shorter every row is this normal
Ohhh, this happened to me alot of times, a tip from me is to really count your stiches, so you can have a straight line.
if my toploader is bigger do i increasethe number of chains for back panel
