Just a little reminder that if you're frustrated, it's totally ok to try again later. I failed multiple times on my first attempt last year and just decided to give it a go again. This time it was much easier and I managed to finish the thing :) Sure my sprout is a little wonky and uneven, but it's my first project so it's ok ^^ Thanks for the amazing and detailed tutorial
THIS is how you do a beginner tutorial! I haven never made a stitch in my life, and I loved how you went slowly and showed how to do each stitch every time instead of just naming them off after showing us once. Thanks to this video I was able to make a very wonky leaf that I am very proud of. THANK YOU!

@@Bellahs1702 im sorry to hear that, but dont give up! it took me a few tries myself to get mine to look like hers. This was the first thing I've ever made! I'm so proud. I've been trying to learn crochet on and off for a year. Finally I sat down and watched your crochet tutorial on how to do the basic stitches, and after practicing that a few times, and this was the first thing I got to make! Thank you so much! ♥
For me so I don’t forget: 8:47 12:38 19:12 19:53 - Go back to the first leaf to understand easier! I made it! the tutorials made it very easy, recommended !
I just tried this without any experience in crochet and it was soooo frustrating. After a week of learning the basics and practicing this was so much easier and I’m almost done with my sprout 🌱 this tutorial is great and so detailed, loved it! Thank you so much
As a self proclaimed intermediate crocheter, following along with this was super fun! I may not be a beginner, but the pace of the video matched my crochet speed perfectly, so I could crochet along without the need to pause and even have room to do some on the fly edits to the pattern as well! I added a row of slip stitch down the middle of each leaf for a little extra detail which also allowed me to return to centre and chain the final loop strap without even having to tie off the leaves. It's such great fun to not only enjoy a well made pattern and tutorial but have the space to add your own personal flair, ty so much

Omg this comment section just raised my self esteem 3000%! This was also a first project for me and I struggled HARD, took plenty of breaks and even felt the need to buy another yarn! But ended up pushing through it !

OMGG TYSMM!!! yes im considering doing more but the next one that im gonna upload is also a beginner tutorial (but require crocheter to hv a solid foundation of the basics) but yes after that vid ill try and do more avsolute beginner💗
THIS is the channel to go to when you're a beginner in crochet because its so detailed she actually explains what the stiches are and as an absolute beginner this was a huge help to me so thanks so much to @lilthings
Just wanna drop in and say that this is by far the most helpful tutorial I've seen for this pattern, I went from never having held a crochet hook to making dozens of sprouts for my friends in like 2 days lol. Really appreciate how detailed and specific you are about how and where to do each stitch, because stuff like this is very intimidating to an absolute beginner like me, but you made everything very easy to understand and follow along with.
OMG MY FIRST CROCHET PROJECT AAAAHHH, IT WORKED OUT Y'ALL 😭 Took me a few tries but omg I got the hang of it by the end, it's a bit wonky but it's my first project and it's for my bf🥹💗
this was my first ever crochet and it turned out so well!! your video was so helpful and, okay, apparently i dont know how to count, but its so beautiful! im so proud my little sproutie 🌱😊
Omg thank you so much I wanted to do this as a present and as a person who cant make anything out of the written instructions (thanks adhd) this is life saving. Wish there were videos like this for bigger (payed or unpayed) step by step tutorials
After being someone who has only knitted since secondary school, I found crochet to be so daunting, but this was the first thing I made and was so so happy about it. There was no way I would've been able to do it without this amazing video. It is perfect for beginners and your patience is so appreciated, thank you :')
I love it!! So concise! This is my first creation, it doesnt look perfect but not every leaf in real life does hehe ^.^ I want to eventually make my own accessories and clothes and this was such a good starting point! Thank you for explaining so well!!
why are my stitches looking so shabby and uneven 😭 edit : trust the process! I made it! It's a bit untidy but practice makes you better! I had fun making this thank you 🌱 💚
I was having such a chaotic week, and then I came up with this initiative. Found your video and your channel. I tried for 2h and finally did it thanks to your help! Thank you so much for such detailed and soothing explanation. This accomplishment really made my night; thank you so much for this, I really felt that you were my teacher and were explaining me step by step. Most specially about this is that I understood what I did: what is a triple crochet, a triple increased, a double, a semidouble, it's amazing. I feel so smart thanks to you! Blessings
I tried and had trouble so many times having to restart it. Then I came back like a month later and used a different yarn that I like better and was able to do it all in one sitting. It really is a good tutorial, just takes some learning as you go bc I really didn't know how to do any of this beforehand. Now I feel like I could make another one with just the instructions alone relatively easily.
I’ve just started crochet two days ago and I’m determined to follow your videos to make my first projects!! it’s nice that you repeat the name of the stitch and how to do it each time 👍
This pattern is absolutely amazing, it has all the basic stitches, which is really essential and useful for beginners and also very easy! Plus, you get a cute thing at the end lol 💖
This is the first video I’ve seen that is actually beginner friendly! I’m new to crocheting and all the other videos I’ve watched have gone way too fast, thank you for making this video! You are 100% my new go to channel 💗💗💗
thanks! this help my daughter learn how to crochet and whenever its her free time she runs to her room and watchs your vids! so thanks! this help her to have some fun in her free time!
This is my first crochet tutorial ever and it actually turned out so good!!!! This is the perfect video for beginners!!!! Thank you for making my first project an unforgettable experience 😊😊😊!!!
thanks !!! i'm a true beginner ! i just bought a crochet and yarn, and I started over 6 times ! but now i have little wonky and uneven leafs on my headset ! thank u again ! your instruction were very clear
havent watched the full video yet but this is the first tutorial that has been perfect for me- i lose of track of almost every other tutorial too fast and whenever they speed up their process i get completely lost. plus, most also do their movements too fast. thank you for being slow in this it helps me so much TvT
This video was amazing I love my leaf and before now I had failed like four times but to those who want to give up push through you got this and it is definitely worth it ❤❤❤❤
Your tutorial brings every other “Beginner’s tutorials” to shame because you made this so easy to follow, had perfect pacing, AND showed us exactly what to do without covering the camera. I finally crocheted something! Thank you so much!
Im so happy you explained the chain thing and showed it, it always gets me confused i really like your video and im so glad i found you. Thank you so much. ♥️🙏🏽
This was my first crochet piece I made. English is not my native language, but this tutorial is perfect! Everything is very well explained and I was able to learn calmly and without getting lost ❤ It's great for beginners! I was also able to practice a little bit of my English haha
I found this tutorial very useful and it's the first one that worked for me! Unfortunately, I did have to start over twice since the number of chains in the video wasn't enough for the stitches for me but other than that I really loved this. Definitely recommended for beginners looking for some quick, easy and useful first projects ❤
this was my FIRST crochet project ever (that actually succeeded) !!! i love my lil sproutling its so cute 💗😭 SO proud of myself but i also want to thank you for this lovely and ACTUALLY beginner friendly video because out of all the "beginner" crochet tutorials I've watched, this was the quickest and most well explained one! thank you :)
Gosh, I don’t know how many tries it took me 😂 but are soothing voice helped me went back through each steps, and finally had my project done Your tutorial is amazing
This is one of my first complete projects I've crocheted! Your tutorial helped soo much and I had some hiccups along the way but after a few breaks I managed to make one! Honestly this is so adorable and I'm definitely making some of your other projects in the future!!

thank you so much for this tutorial! i’ve been crocheting since i was 7, but stopped for so many years. i recently wanted to relearn it, but i was overwhelmed with all the types of stitches. however, this tutorial and the step by step process has been so helpful for me to learn the different types! thank you for your work ❤ have a wonderful day!
this is such a good tutorial! you should make more🤭 i’m just starting out and i struggle to find detailed and slow tutorials but yours was perfect thank you so much :)
I watched three different videos from different people and this one was the one that did it for me. Thank you !!
This is such a cute tutorial! I can’t wait to make this for my little sister! 🌱💖
omg im sure she'll love it😍ur such a good sister🫶🏻🫶🏻(🤫thanks for watching til end)
OMG MY FIRST CROCHET PROJECT AAAAHHH, IT WORKED OUT Y'ALL 😭 Took me a few tries but omg I got the hang of it by the end, it's a bit wonky but it's my first project and it's for my bf🥹💗
this was my first ever crochet and it turned out so well!! your video was so helpful and, okay, apparently i dont know how to count, but its so beautiful! im so proud my little sproutie 🌱😊
aww woww super proud of u❤❤
Omg thank you so much I wanted to do this as a present and as a person who cant make anything out of the written instructions (thanks adhd) this is life saving.
Wish there were videos like this for bigger (payed or unpayed) step by step tutorials
After being someone who has only knitted since secondary school, I found crochet to be so daunting, but this was the first thing I made and was so so happy about it. There was no way I would've been able to do it without this amazing video. It is perfect for beginners and your patience is so appreciated, thank you :')
Omg I thought ALL crochet projects were hard. This one SUPER EASY. Mine looked like trash but after a few tries 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉IT WAS GREAT❤️
I love it!! So concise! This is my first creation, it doesnt look perfect but not every leaf in real life does hehe ^.^ I want to eventually make my own accessories and clothes and this was such a good starting point! Thank you for explaining so well!!
omgg wowww super proud🥹💗💗so happy u like it🫶🏻🫶🏻 and that as ur first project is very impressive✨
Not me trying to find a comment that’s struggling😊
Me 😭

edit : trust the process! I made it! It's a bit untidy but practice makes you better! I had fun making this thank you 🌱 💚
My second leaf is so much better than my first haha!

@@JellyMotion alright!!
Blessings
This was so much fun to do! Really cozy and aesthetic with a cup of chocolate milk😁😊🌱
Well done for watching till the end🎊🤫
I tried and had trouble so many times having to restart it. Then I came back like a month later and used a different yarn that I like better and was able to do it all in one sitting. It really is a good tutorial, just takes some learning as you go bc I really didn't know how to do any of this beforehand. Now I feel like I could make another one with just the instructions alone relatively easily.
I’ve just started crochet two days ago and I’m determined to follow your videos to make my first projects!! it’s nice that you repeat the name of the stitch and how to do it each time 👍
This....
Is the BEST crochet teacher ever.
(Im a beginner)
I’m actually wanting to make this :3
Edit: bought 3.00 supplies and 3.00 yarn at Walmart
Ready for the lesson ☺️
This was my first crochet tutorial and now it's a hobby. Today I'll try to teach my dad how to crochet a leaf.
This pattern is absolutely amazing, it has all the basic stitches, which is really essential and useful for beginners and also very easy! Plus, you get a cute thing at the end lol 💖
I made matching headphone sprouts for me and my husband and they turned out so cute! Thanks for the tutorial, it was so helpful!!
This is the first video I’ve seen that is actually beginner friendly! I’m new to crocheting and all the other videos I’ve watched have gone way too fast, thank you for making this video! You are 100% my new go to channel 💗💗💗

ayyyy good job!!!! love to hear the update💗
tyy! but is the leaf supposed to be super tight? I can barely get my hook through
havent watched the full video yet but this is the first tutorial that has been perfect for me- i lose of track of almost every other tutorial too fast and whenever they speed up their process i get completely lost. plus, most also do their movements too fast. thank you for being slow in this it helps me so much TvT
As a beginner Crocherer lol THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I finished it perfectly because of how well you explained step by step!
This video was amazing I love my leaf and before now I had failed like four times but to those who want to give up push through you got this and it is definitely worth it ❤❤❤❤
I just found your channel and the way you explain everything and edit it is just beautiful. Thank you so much. Continue the amazing work ❤❤
thank you soo much❤❤ this is what keeps me going😭💗 tysm!!
Your tutorial brings every other “Beginner’s tutorials” to shame because you made this so easy to follow, had perfect pacing, AND showed us exactly what to do without covering the camera. I finally crocheted something! Thank you so much!
omg this was my first crochet project and it TURNED OUT SO CUTE this tutorial is sooo helpful and aesthetic tyyy!
mds que achado!!!!! o melhor canal de crochê que eu já viii!! era tudo oq eu estava pedindo 🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏
She explains it like I'm an idiot, just that way for me to learn
by the way, "idiot" is an ableist word, it was a medical term
Sorry
Im so happy you explained the chain thing and showed it, it always gets me confused i really like your video and im so glad i found you. Thank you so much. ♥️🙏🏽
This is my first time crocheting and I was sweating through the first leaf and when i got to the second it saved my sanity , this is amazing 😮💨
my leaf looks like a sad noodle...
Fr, mine's the same
This was my first crochet piece I made.
It’s not working 😅
Gosh, I don’t know how many tries it took me 😂 but are soothing voice helped me went back through each steps, and finally had my project done
Your tutorial is amazing
thank you soo much🥹🥹💗 im super proud of u for making this project
I cant understand the fasten off part :(
i need a tut for it-
This is by far the best tutorial I've seen, slow and well explained for beginners ❤ thanks!!
Why does mine look like a deformed duck in the 1st leaf
This is one of my first complete projects I've crocheted! Your tutorial helped soo much and I had some hiccups along the way but after a few breaks I managed to make one! Honestly this is so adorable and I'm definitely making some of your other projects in the future!!
Is it just me or are you crying too😭😭😭
Yes T^T
