I'm having a problem where I pivot my data - build my viz - but then when I need to update my source because I have new data in my Excel file - I can't figure out how to get the new data to streamline with the pivoted data I already have without breaking my viz. What's the best way to do that?
I am using tableau desktop only but couldn't find the data interpreter option while connecting to the files. Is this somehow related to the version of the tableau I'm using or I have to add it from somewhere?
