This is a very nice mixer. Are you still happy with it in 2021? I have a KitchenAid mixer from the late 1980s, and it's still going strong. So, I hope your mixer will perform well for a long time for you.

Hi Sashine. I too have my 1991 white 4.5 qt kitchen aid. I love it but really want the 7 qt now but can’t find one anywhere!!!

@@Souperat60 Stock is low from most companies due to the pandemic. Once we get over this, they should start manufacturing more goods. I haven't seen the 7 quart mixer anywhere in ages. Even KitchenAid doesn't have them in stock. And they used to make the Artisan mixer in about 35 different colours, now they're down to about 5. I hope you'll find the 7 quart mixer soon.

Looks like the Pro Line 7 qt is the only Kitchenaid that doesn't sound like a jet engine taking off. Maybe in another video you could comment on the smallest batches that can be done with this unit. Thanks.

I did a lot of research on the noise issue and that was a significant factor in getting the Pro Line 7; it is quiet. Thanks for watching and I'll consider another video on this subject.

The 5qt bowl is compatible with this 7qt machine... So smallest batches u can do on 5qt applies to 7qt as well

@@YanShaoBinn Kitchenaid makes TWO different 5 quart bowls. Be sure to get the right one. Check with customer service to get the correct item number. The 6 quart and 8 quart bowls will also work on the 7 quart mixer.

You should see you should see how dramatically these have gone up in price over the past couple months. Whirlpool/kitchenaid it's having difficulty Sourcing The parts which which come from China. I know everybody Flips out whenever whenever II tell them this Because they think that at all kitchenaid standmixers are made in Ohio IO but that's only half true. KA Stand mixers are only assembled in Ohio but most of the parts are sourced from China. There's only a few a few companies around the globe that is that manufacturer small small electric motors motors and 95% of those companies are in China.

Just purchased the Kitchenaid 7 Quart Pro Line Mixer. I made some cookie dough for the first time with it, and with the dough hook it kept kneading in the center of the bowl, and kept coming up and remaining on the sides of the bowl. I had to stop it, and kept pushing it down with a spatula. I had purchased a 5 quart Artisan a few months ago, and it was pretty good at kneading the dough but wobbled a lot, and couldn’t make big batches. One day it just stopped working, and I returned it and purchased the 7 Quart. How do I avoid this problem? Thank you.

Call their customer service and ask. I have not seen that problem with mine, but maybe it has to do with batch size. I use the hook to knead bread and it does very good. If you find a solution please let us know. Thanks for watching.

The dough hook is for kneading bread dough. Use the flat beater to make cookies.
