This drill was initially uploaded just on my Patreon. However, I thought it can give a great value to many beginners, so I decided to share it here on my TH-cam channel aswell. If you want to see more drills & videos, check out my Patreon: patreon.com/Sharivari

Great vids 👍 can you do some minutes about the tip? The best shape of a tip, thickness etc etc, generally. It's a bit personal but to flat or to rounded makes you missque und so weiter... Just want to hear your advice. 👌

Simple drill, but not just for beginners. It can also be helpful for getting into stroke and learning how a table plays before a tournament.

This drill is beneficial to all skill levels and is explained perfectly. This is how I will warm up from now on. I’m a big fan and have learned a lot from you. Thanks for your time and dedication.

I really like this drill. Wide variety of shots like you said. My best was when I stayed in line and was able to play "pocket speed". Now. I'm far from a beginner, but still need to be more consistent! I only got a 7 so far :(
BUT once I barely missed a ball at #6 and kept going to get a fake 12 ball run! Lol
Back to the drawing board. Hope I can get to 20+ soon!

Everytime I see an old video of yours that I have not watched yet I click on it. That's how great I think your channel actually is. I try my best to learn from all your videos and it has helped a bit actually. I will find more time to get back on the pool table and learn more from your videos

I was glad you mentioned the money ball on the spot. While watching a lot of Pro 9 ball tournaments, I've noticed that two rail shot comes up 90% of the time.
Like your first and third shots from the 3 to the 1. The 9 ball is usually in the area of the spot and they play the short rail / long rail going down the line position shot repeatedly.

I hadn't been able to play pool in almost a year due to the pandemic, but last month I finally bought a pool table for my home, and now I'm using your drills to get back on track. Great stuff. And I kid you not, being able to watch your videos during this time has really helped me out a lot, not just with pool, but with staying sane. Thanks, man.

    Awesome Drill!
I had some problems with other drills that involve a lot of balls, and it was just so frustrating bumping into them all the time, especially because I play on a 7ft table, since I don't have more space in my home and I got it for an awesome price. Gonna try this drill out right away!

Yes sir I have a question, it might seem strange but all I ever shoot on is Bar pool tables, so much different than a nice Billard table. I know the same rule of thumb is the same just scaled down. Have you ever done a segment on Bar pool tables? And have you played on many? Thanks again for putting your videos up so we can learn from your knowledge and skills!

Consistency is key, from your pre shot routine, to your stance, and even your head placement when you go down on your shot and staying down after a good follow through. If you can keep everything as similar as possible, your results will steadily get better

    • @Sharivari
      @Sharivari  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

That's a common problem. A shift of your stance could do the job, but without seeing you on the table it's hard to give the right advice.

First time I played this drill, so... not much experience at all! I personally try to repeat the shot I missed. For me, it is frustrating that I miss so many times so I decided to repeat shots until I get it right. I also repeat some shots when my positioning becomes awful.

With drills such as these, the aim shouldn't be to pocket the ball. With only 3 balls on the table it's not that difficult to pocket.
Better to decide which pocket you're going for before hand and also plan position and see how accurately you can stop the cue ball.
2- and 3-rail position planning is also very important.
