Loved the video, I'm an accessory and protection nerd myself too! I was a dragonsheild only fan for about a decade though recently have converted over to the Katana inner and outers for Sorcery! I exclusively use them now, the shuffle feel and durability is amazing and I had noticed some quality control issues with dragonsheild in the last couple of years. Always love your content, it was great hearing your perspectives!
Thank you, clearly we are also pretty nerdy about our accessories. 😄 We will also be doing a couple of videos with deck boxes, binders and storage. We were actually also pleasantly surprised by the Katana sleeves, this was our first time checking them out and trying them for this video. The only really negative thing is that they are harder to find at our LGS and we would love to see just a few more colours to have some more range to choose from. Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot! ❤
@@IneptCardCollector Thanks! We have tried a lot of sleeves over the years, and thought we might have some things to share. We buy most of our stuff at the LGS or the company who produced the product when they have a sale, which they do a couple of times a year. Would it be good if we gave a heads up next time a sale is coming up?
I double sleeve my entire Sorcery play set that way I just simply pull the card out of the playset box and not having to change sleeves... that would decrease the chance of the card getting nicked by the sleeves themselves. I wanted to try non glare ones because sometimes the light ruins the photo or video I am taking and a lot of times I need to put the camera at a weird angle just to get a clear shot of the cards Another awesome video... thank you...
@@feriomadrox Interesting, it makes it really handy for deck building. I think we will have to try non-glare ones, but with the significant price difference, we would have to be completely wowed to use them for all our decks. Thank you so much for the kind words, we really appreciate it a lot! 🙏🏻
I buy what's in store for outer sleeves... but some shuffl better than others. some are stick slip and some are too slippy... Dragon Shield are first pick and then the matte bersion though they make the card less readable...For Inner sleeves used to use KMC, but they are much thicker so I stepped over to Ultra Pro Perfect fits. Penny sleeves... in the olden days , yes but not anymore. no need to tripple sleeve and also thickens yhe binder. So I think it's just real personal preference and budget , let each find their own fave. Allmost weekend, 🤘🦁🤘
We fully agree that everyone can find their personal preference which is why we wanted to share some of the options out there. We never triple sleeve anything, but just letting know that the option exist. For binders it is usually a penny sleeve or inner sleeve, and for playing it would be inner and regular card sleeve is usually the “recipe”. 😉
Thanks, we usually keep it chill and enjoy talking about TCGs and all the associated accessories. Thank you for checking out the video and leaving a comment, it means a lot to us!
@@milohobo9186 True, but we probably should have mentioned those in the Sorcery Accessories video. If people are interested the Sorcery tokens fit both stamp sleeves and also a decent fit in the GameGenic Mini Euro Sleeves.
Do you feel like they are worth the price? At least in our local game store the non glare variant is a lot more expensive, and we haven’t tried them out yet.
@CardboardGuide clear matte non glare were re-release in 2023 with a different box. Before that they were hard to find / expensive. I was paying more then double for them. But I really like them and make very poor financial decisions 😅
@@wissuttansriprapasiri7047 Both GameGenic Inner and KMC are 64x89mm, so this same size to fit the card. KMC, at least, here in Europe is vastly more expensive, and that does factor into our preference. I just to out a sleeve of both KMC and GameGenic, to really compare, and they feel and look incredibly similar. They are both more soft and thin than for instance Dragon Shield Perfect Fit, that is in a bit harder material. I feel like they are so similar that their availability locally and the price should be the main determining factors for you. 😉 I hope it is useful. 🙏🏻
Always use protection!
Indeed, in the TCG space and beyond. Thanks for checking out the video!

Thanks for going into all that detail. I'm a bit of an accessory snob, which is tough when I don't really know where to find great deals.

Nice one guys. Nice to have a normal video manner, rather than the hyped up stereotype we see so prevalent on YT.

Don't forget token sleeves for Sorcery

Non-glare from dragonshield. Not for everyone, but I just love how they make cards look and feel.

To me it's like looking at cards on a Kindle almost and I just like it. Also I'd say they are much more scratch resistant and get less smudgey
