One thing worth noting - if the art sleeves are landscape you can even sleeve the card in true double sleeve style without the art looking upside down i.e. with the art sleeve upside down and then the outer sleeve the normal way up.
@RedZoneRogue when I have the dough I'm gon a order some stuff from your shop and rip it on channel. I know our channel is small but it's growing every day
Once you start using outersleeves you never want to go back to single sleeves. The shuffling feeling is so nice. If you have a hard time getting the cards in there, what I do is use an unsleeved common card that I put in with the card and use it to slide/push the sleeved card.
Good old fashion sleeves for sleeves xP low key prefer outer sleeve over normal sleeves to putting everything in perfect fits, less tension being put on the card, but still maintaining double sleeve level protection
I just started using these for Star Wars Unlimited since the shuffle feel isn't the greatest (in my opinion) on the Gamegenic SW sleeves. Total game changer for me! Not super ideal for the SW deck boxes but, oh well.
Hello, I want to double sleeve my Pokemon deck since I hate when my cards start curling, but I'm not sure which method to use: sleeve+inner(sealable) or sleeve+outer like you, which combination do you think is best to stop the cards from curling?
I honestly think they're pretty comparable. I have several MTG commander decks that do the inner sleeve + dragonshield matte and I don't have curling issues with any of my decks. I think it'll just boil down to if you like the outer sleeves or not and/or if you wanna use character sleeves instead of sturdy "normal" sleeves like dragonshield mattes
I think my biggest complaint with using outers sleeves is dealing with the air pockets. Is there a work around to help reduce this, or am I stuck "deflating" my deck before and after every use?
I tried the Dragon Shield Outer sleeves for some character Grand Archive sleeves and they just scrunched up, had to abort the project. Any thoughts? Do they just not fit on occasion?
Only real issue with outer sleeves is that it's harder to find a deckbox that can fit with them depending on what outer sleeve you use. I find that the KMC outer sleeves don't fit in my usual deck boxes.
@@Steamedhams578 Yup. A lot of standard deck boxes don’t work with outers. Luckily I’ve found that Bandai deck boxes fit them perfectly. If you want something more generic or not licensed the Gamegenic double and triple hold them perfectly as well as the Ultimate Guard Sidewinder.
I use the new Gamegenic Bastion cases - they fit outer sleeves just fine. A cheaper option are the Gamegenic 80+ deck boxes - they're a couple of mm taller inside than the competition.
Yup, so difficult to buy a deckbox that fits a good sized deck with outer sleeves. Depending on the game you're playing and deck size VaultX fits outersleeve decks just fine and don't break the bank.
Dragon Shields are the biggest outer sleeve option available as dragon shield sleeves are the biggest sleeves, at least that I have found. I have a video on my channel about Out Sleeves where I review 4 of the brands I could find. Try giving D Shield Outers a try.
Good video thanks for the upload and information it was helpful ❤ Had a question related to Grand Archive. Is the Tristan Recollection Shadow Dancer deck worth $70 ? I was looking at it online and was wondering…
So that's a little higher than msrp which is around $50. I think $70 sealed still isnt too bad. I have a full review here: th-cam.com/video/DewxvbjhK2w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6R_wrZuCeRsegwan
Thank you for watching and for your support Rogue's Gallery 🙏

Finally, and sleeve connoisseur like myself. Outers are so important when you splurge on art sleeves like I do lol
I also have that Amy sleeve and honestly didn't even know she had a name. Always called her Bacon Guide because of her JP phrase in app.
She's one of my absolute favorite Shadowcraft leaders in digital 🖤

I clicked this video because I wanted to try exactly this, why do you prefer it? Is it easier for shuffling ?

Random question, but is the KMC outer sleeve the exact same size as the Dragon Shield one? I'm trying to see if it'll fit into my deck box.
Hm, I'm not sure how tight of a fit your deck box is - but they're VERY close

Which sleeves specifically?
@@RedZoneRogue the Dragon Shield outer and the older ones, Lorraine, that come in the sealed pack, not the boxed newer GA Dragon Shield sleeves
Oh man, I've got to know where did you get those wixoss sleeves? Holy crapppppp
Some I picked up while I was in Tokyo this year and some were old box toppers! They're tough to find
@RedZoneRogue yea I've only seen a few and they were on ebay for astronomical prices lol

I've found that all of the Bushiroad style deck boxes work very well (as shown in the video)

I don't use outer sleeves as 2nd sleeves but as main sleeves for my digimon and Battle Spirits decks

Cool thanks I’ll check out the review.
Btw is the card Penumbral Waltz worth picking up ? It looks interesting to me
Are these Grand Archive Cards?
The decks I show off in this video are mostly Shadowverse Evolve and WIXOSS
Sorry to drop an unrelated comment, but can you point me to the full version of that Shiki No Uta remix?
Just search "Shiki No Real" 🫡
Wouldn't Japanese size outer sleeves just be regular size normal sleeves?
Not quite. I tried and the dimensions are off
Dragon Shield is way too thick... I go with the KMC since Im playing commander. Otherwise, its not too bad to stick with dragon shield
Oh yeah all these games I showed have either a 40 or 50 card deck (plus 10 card extra decks). 100 cards would be...beefy 😅
