Great video mate. Looks amazing I am in Austria next month. Did you visit the WW2 eagles nest
Just stumbled upon your channel as we are thinly of doing a road trip to Salzburg in Sept.
We thought you were fabulous! Really informative and interesting. Your use of classic music was so refreshing. Keep it up.
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed the video. Have a fantastic time if you end up travelling to Salzburg!
I'm going to Salzberg in September i can't wait. This video has got me so excited thanks for sharing.
You’re very welcome. Have an amazing trip!
Another great video, Ben.
You looked like you enjoyed this trip. Great to see the elation on your face when you reached the top of that peak. Was stunning for sure.
I've been looking at visiting Salzburg and Hallstatt myself. It's good to see it through your eyes and hear your thoughts. Definitely now on my must do list this year along with Krakow if I can. My mum always wanted to visit salzburg because she was a huge fan of the sound of music. Sadly she never got there before she passed away, so it's something I really want to do to honor her memory.
Looking forward to next week's video.
Thank you! I am getting slightly better at balancing filming / enjoying the trip.
I hope you get to visit in memory of your Mum, I often get emotional when I visit amazing places and think of those who have passed.
I think I need to watch the Sound of music for the first time too!
My wife and I spent three unforgettable weeks in Austria in July, '03. Our daughter lives in Salzburg, so we got an inside look at this beautiful city. Thanks for putting this wonderful video together. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
That’s fantastic. I’m sure it’s a lovely place to live!
Salzburg has been on my list of places to visit for a while but I think I'll have to move it closer to the top of the list after seeing this video. Stunning city.
Great, glad you enjoyed it. And honestly I didn't really have enough time to slow down and properly appreciate the city!
Hi Ben, awesome video of the highlights of your time in Salzburg Austria. The music you had playing during the video was so fitting for all of the structural and scenic beauty. I never visited the country of Austria so glad to see it through your video.
Thanks for the tip of the $28.00 pass. Looks like it was a money saver as it included entrance for the $13.00 Mozart Museum and also the the $28.00 Cable Car ride.
Looking forward to your other videos of the different places you are visiting in Austria.
Thanks for all of your efforts to film, narrate and edit the footage and adding the background music.
Glad you enjoyed music, I think it makes the videos personally 😊
Certainly takes an insane amount of effort to film, narrate and edit. Thanks for watching Ben!
Salzburg is great. Have been there 5 times, I think. Most recently in December. My "cool" moment in Mozarts Geburtshaus was standing in the room where he was born and thinking, "I'm standing in the room where Mozart was born!" Great video, as always. Looking forward to Hallstatt and Vienna!
Wow, you must like it! Thank you Stephen, hopefully out Sunday if I can get it all edited in time!
i had a great time there i went for the christmas markets , such a beautiful place
Wonderful to see you walking in the beautiful springtime sunshine. You are clearly a traveller/ explorers/ adventurer. No agenda, no plan, no checklist itinerary. My most recent visit to Salzburg was in a winters, icy December 2022. Whereas it is concerning to note that even the upper reaches of the Alps are without snow, good on you for seeking the best views. Austria is a wonderful country. Thank you for your upload. Cheers from Zoltan (in Dubrovnik)
Thank you Zoltan. The comment is much appreciated, again. It is nice just being able to explore without a plan sometimes, though I could have done with more time in Salzburg and Vienna really!
Love Salzberg. I would also recommend Slovenia for amazing mountain views
Thanks Paul, anywhere in particular you'd recommend? Ljubljana is on my list
Cracking video Ben really enjoyed it. Am looking to do a day trip to Salzburg while visiting Vienna next month. 🙂
Thanks David. Sounds great, may also be worth considering a visit to Hallstatt too if you have enough time! Have a great trip
Jaw-dropping view. wonderful video.. thank you for sharing with us..
Glad you enjoyed it!😇
Oh!! Every bit of it.. Absolutely fantastic... ❤️
Fantastic video Ben I love ❤Salzburg was there last year and eleven years ago and going back in September thanks for memories Ben
Thank you Grant. And that's fantastic, enjoy!
@@BenRobson123 you most welcome Ben looking forward to Salzburg again happy travels
Wow..fantastic as always 😊
Thanks Terri!😁
Absolutely stunning video.
Glad you enjoyed it Scott!
Stunning my friend!! You took the ttain from Salzburg to Haalstad?
Thank you! And yes I did, I have a video for Hallstatt too if that helps :)
my guy!
Appreciate the support as always mate ❤️
Thanks for doing the hard work to get those beautiful panoramic views of the castle and the city
You're very welcome. Thanks again Carolina!
Bluetooth mic that clips to your shirt would be helpful. Other than that, GORGEOUS!! A dream place of mine to visit since I was a yound girl in the 60s and Sound of Music.
Thanks for the feedback :) Glad you enjoyed it and hope you get to visit one day!
Was there in Salzburg in December for the Christmas market and the Krampus run. Now, that was a trip and a half.
Bet it was beautiful, and that sounds interesting!
@BenRobson123 you should try it. But wear a good thick track suit because the Krampuses use their whips for real.
Nice vid. I want to go!
One thing I saw that I’ve seen in another video, is if you panned down a bit at 11:40 where there’s that green open space, there’s a house in the middle on its own - that’s where the executioner used to live, and nobody wanted to live beside him so they built their houses away from his for good luck 😂
Edit: I googled it and it’s apparently true!
Oh cool, I never knew that haha! perhaps that's the sort of thing you'd hear about if doing a guided tour. Though I was a bit rushed in Salzburg unfortunately. Thanks for watching Rob, as always! Take care
i had a wonderful time in salzburg i went at christmas for the markets i also visited Innsbruck its a beautiful country
oh I bet it must've been beautiful at Christmas! How was Innsbruck?
As always, another great video! Why is it that you do not feature any places to eat that the cuisine of where you are visiting? Just curious!
Thank you! I'm quite a fussy eater actually, and also after long tiring hours filming, I'm guilty of just wanting something quick and easy so I can rest after filming!
@@BenRobson123Obviously you are a healthy eater so it can't be that bad!!
Simply breathtaking
It really is! Thanks for watching as always 😁
Some amazing views across the city to the mountains. Beautiful city too.
Certainly Ron, a lovely city which I'd love to visit again in Summer time!
@BenRobson123 I really ought to make plans to visit, I've been a fan of mozart since I was in my teens, so really should look into this for summer. 👍
Excellent videos of Salzburg and hallstat. Helpful information too. Can you tell me where I I get the $28 card for the day visit in Salzburg? Thank you!
Thank you! You can buy one through this link:card-webshop.feratel.com/scc01/default/?language=en#category:card
OR you'll be able to buy one no problem from your accommodation or ticket offices round the city .
You might some of this information helpful from their website:
www.salzburg.info/en/hotels-offers/salzburg-card
Did you fly with Jet2? I wanted to do this with Munich as apparently it's 1 hour 30 minutes away by train!
Yep. Munich is very close by! Last flights from Newcastle are in April though, should be some cheap ones going out, not sure about coming back!
So you don t have free transport and museums becayse you stayed in a hotel in Salzburg? You have to buy that card?
your vids are getting sicker, can just see you progressing in the editing game and layout class
Thank you so much!!
You should never have to pay to enter any places of worship, that's just a racket
Perhaps in an ideal world, but Catholicism is dying. If they didn't charge for entry, no doubt the Churches would soon decline too
Religion is a racquet regardless.
It's 5 Euro's it's not exactly extortionate🙄
