Thanks for the detailed opinion on the knife. I ordered one and feel confident that it will perform to my needs in the field

I don’t own an SRK but like the look of the handle, shape and size 🇺🇸 🇳🇿

The SRK has a VERY comfy and natural hold on it. Its nice and grippy too. I usually like bigger handles but the SRK just feels RIGHT.

Mine was a gift. I like it despite the small sized handle. I use it as a camp kitchen knife.

Good vid but seen a million vids on this knife you should start doing some testing of your knives in the field when using them or jus like carving at a camp spot with certain knives making food etc but keep it up 👍

I bought the Compact and the Recon Tanto as a pair.

Thank you for this. I have wanted to give an srk a try for a while, but recently came across this compact version. Honestly, I already have plenty of moras that I think would be a better choice than the srk-c. I have nothing currently that fills the roll of the bigger regular srk.

Flat grind is superior over a hollow grind. A hollow grind on a fixed blade is ridiculous.

"flat grind" - from the pictures I can see it looks to me more like a sabre grind?

SrK C is OK, but it is not a SRK.

how come? just asking, im strill undecided to which one to buy; i prefer shorter knives but for that 5ish inch MORA's are awesome and im not sure if i need another smaller blade knife. on the other hand, i have bk2 and bk9 for anything else, but those are more of a prybars than knives :P. would be SKR good "in between" between MORA and Beckers? i do own OHC hunting knife and its AWESOME, bum given its thin design im worried i may snap it if i push it to far... price difference wise is under 10€....

@@ApocGuy just buy both. They are different. Thickness for one.
