Pushing My R50 Pathfinder to the Limit Going Off Road!

- I go off roading in my R50 Pathfinder and really pushed it. Many of these obstacles have either stumped or challenged me previous to the addition of my lokka. This is a fun and challenging trail, and I was glad to see the difference that my Lokka made. Combined with the lift, sliders, and other off road modifications, it makes for competent vehicle!

Great control and line picking. I have really enjoyed your videos which has inspired me to begin transforming my R 50. Thanks again. :)
Thank you! I have to give some of the credit to the lokka, which makes a lot of lines look easier than they would be otherwise!
Mad respect for just walking down the trail to set up a camera, driving down it, and walking back to pick up the camera and do it over again. Sounds like a lot of work to get such cool shots
Haha, it is a lot of work, and it means I rarely do it, but it makes for good video!
Beautiful video! I was looking onto buying a neighbour’s Pathfinder and I ended with a beautiful 4x4 driving tutorial. I like your style.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it, best of luck with that pathfinder
That R50 is so clean : I love how simple it looks almost like an off-road sleeper
Thanks man! Thanks for watching
@@208Tyler is there a buyers guide that you have? I’m seriously hooked on an 01 with a 5 speed near me
Not in video form, but I answer this question frequently in comment sections lol
Spotting for yourself while off roading can be tricky! The Lokka and LSD make it look easy!
Ya, it’s an experience..... definitely helped by the extra traction
Nice driving ! Looked like a fun trail system !
3:40 was nuts!
Oh ya! First time I actually completed that obstacle. It was a lot of fun seeing how much the lokka helped me out on that. Totally flexed out, and the lokka still pulled me up. Fun stuff, thanks for watching!
Look awesome, I had a '86 Defender back of the days in Italy, did same stuff factory setup. Missing it...
All this stuff is right in my backyard. We should go play sometime, I have a Grand Cherokee that I like to take out there.
Wait really? Dang, my neighbor has a really nice Grand Cherokee that I think he just bought too. They’re awesome after a few mods (and out the box)
Keep up the good work!
Silly question here, but can you show how you shift from 2H to 4H to 4L and so forth please? I read the manual but can’t seem to figure it out. Thanks!
I don’t have this car anymore. You gotta press the shifter downward and forward at the same time from 4H to get to 4L, if you have the manual shifter. There’s an electric one too
Awesome video!!
Thanks my man!
Nice.
Dont put lpg on it.
Mine has it n the tank is a pain in the arse.
How big is your lift? I did the easy 2"
Have you changed your dizzy yet?
LPG...?
2”. I don’t think the 3.5’s have a dizzy.
That problem has been fixed, you can buy whats called a donut LPG tank and its 71 litres, it fits under the rear where the spare tire goes, recommended to also fit a custom bash plate under the tank if you use it offroad
Noice bro!
Great video! What lift kit and size tires use it?? Saludos de Chile!!

....sorry for the off topic question, I cant see any bad body rust. Here in Canada I'm having trouble with bad rust holes on fenders.....how do you deal with that?
Not sure, google could tell you more than I could
Any transmission issues with running larger tires?
No. At least on the R50’s, your transmission is a lot more likely to fail from poor maintenance or misuse than just adding larger tires.
Hi..am planning to take a hummer h3 or a pathfinder r50. Am confused which will offer good off road experience. can you help me with advice.
Very different vehicles. I’d assume the Nissan is smaller, shorter, narrower, and has similar ground clearance at the diffs, but worse body clearance. Nissan is gonna be more reliable, easier to maintain, and better on gas.
The hummer out of the box is still likely more capable off road, some packages include lockers if I remember correctly.
For me, simplicity and reliability is king, and I’d be tempted to stick with the Nissan.
I could be wrong but isn't that the R51 model? 98 is the last year of the R50.
you're wrong
R50 is 96-2004 in the USDM as well as Canada. A quick google will help you
R50 goes til 2004 dude. Dunno what youve been reading.
"to the limit" jajajajajajaja
