Laughing hysterically and crying at over 30 years old just listening to this music. I´m freakin weird, but so happy that my favorite game is getting the treatment it deserves
The best part of the updated OST is hands down the motifs. The Thousand Year Door motif (played by the violins at 1:23) is so much more prevalent in songs, it's subtly there in the partner themes, it's in some of the battles themes, even in some of the area themes, it's just such a great touch to the OST!
Why would you need to. Never in the game is your named refrenced, and the Switch has account profiles now. I'm just glad they remembered to give us a file select, unlike Origami King.
Man, it's been two weeks since then, and I still can't believe that this remake is a thing. I can honestly tell that the devs put so much love and care into it. From the update visual, music (even having a badge that lets you have the option to listening to the OG music), small QoL improvements, and even staying faithful to the character's designs instead of mandating them like the Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story 3DS remakes. My only gripe is that you can't take on multiple Trouble Center quests at a time, but since backtracking is much more streamlined for the most part, it's not a major deal breaker for me. I really am glad that this and the Super Mario RPG remake exist for the current generation of gamers who had a difficult time getting the original games (unless you emulated them, which...more power to you, I guess). I've been showing both these games to my friend, and he's really enjoying them. Especially the stories, which he rarely mentions in games.
Man i remember hearing this when i was 13 years old now here i I’m 25 years and the music still goes hard but the remake reminds that old music can be even more better

I've never played this game, nor do I plan to get it since I'm more interested in the Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon remake, but from the get go Intelligent Systems has really seemed to put a ton of love into their fan-acclaimed remake, and that is something that I, a big fan of Color Splash and Origami King, can respect.

If there's one thing origami king has taught me, it's that there's no such thing as too much violin in a soudtrack.
This game does not use senseless violins, so you know it's safe for the whole family
@@eieneidnfhaha!
Nah Violins are more Color Splash than Origami King. Origami King is more Guitar than Violin

Wooooow that just made me realize that those who were 10 years old when they played this game are 30. GEEZ

Finally someone uploaded it, this theme brings me back so much joy
Still waiting for someone to make this into a playlist
1:23 I like that they incorporated the main theme into more of the soundtrack!
It's the praying of the ending mann ahhhh, I love it
This part of the theme is used a LOT more in game now, so far I heard it in Rogueport and it’s sewers
Sounds like the first half is super paper Mario’s theme
I'm glad they didn't forget the piano solo part
You can't name files anymore :(
Which is odd cause you can in Mario RPG remake

WE'RE GETTING INTO THAT DOOR WITH THIS ONE
Honestly somehow comparing this to the original makes me appreciate both of them even more
Great, now i can't unhear the sound effects from the reveal trailer.
I love remake paper Mario thousand year door music theme
Sad that the ☆Anime♡ file name can no longer live on, but hyped for this sick remix
I just love how the intro to the song is dynamic to how far you’ve progressed. It’s soooo good!!!!🙌
0:23 goes so hard
The part where the opening theme comes in, holy shot
It's.... it's beautiful. I just can NOT stop listening to this. If THIS is good, imagine the bosses themes (ESPECIALLY THE FINAL ONE)
WE ARE SO DAMN BACK!
This theme not only feel like it represents TTYD or just origami king but the entire paper mario series as a whole
They frickin cooked with this

Kinda miss the bleep bloops at 0:46.
I like what replaced them but I kinda wish there was another loop with the old beebloops.
I mean, they're still there, just heavily subdued.
LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!
The music feels like Opening Day (the beginning of the 2024 MLB Season), which MLB Network arrived starting from MLB The Show 24.

I am looking for the JP version, is it the same? Is it different lime og?
there are audio files in the game that contain the JP version, so i would assume the JP copy would play that one, yes
So is the whole ost just "add more shit to the background until the main original melody is barely audible"?
I mean it sounds good for me, and you can literally swap the soundtracks if you wanted to
barely audible? what? I recognised the melody immediately
